Lucius Malfoy was standing inside Borgin & Burkes looking at a red sword that radiated dark magic. According to Borgin, this sword allowed its wielder to control the power of a demon. Normally, Lucius would never dabble in demonology since he was already powerful enough as a pureblood. However, the reports that he had received from Hogwarts made the fanatical pureblood nervous. It was supposed to be impossible to kill dementors and yet that mongrel-who-should-have-died had slain over a hundred of the beasts. Lucius knew that he would need the power of a demon if he was to put down an enemy who could do that and he grasped the sword.
The instant Lucius touched the handle, Efreet awoke. Michael had cast him into the void eons ago hoping that he would return to Dark Schneider. However, the demonic sword had been found by that pathetic Borgin 30 years ago. At least Borgin had the sense not to touch him. The impudence of this new wizard enraged Efreet and he quickly transformed into his demonic form. Incidentally, the transformation destroyed Borgin & Burkes killing Lucius Malfoy in the process.
Now in the magical world, a lot of things could happen that wouldn't cause people to bat an eye. However, a 40 foot tall red demon suddenly showing up was not one of those things. The wizards in Knockturn Alley and Dagion Alley quickly started shouting and screaming in terror. Many of the Aurors on site quickly apparanted away. They were paid to stop jaywalkers and punk kids, giant demons wasn't in their mandate.
Harry Schneider, Ollivander, and a recovered Dumbledore quickly rushed out of the wand shop to see Efreet going Godzilla on Magical London. Correction, make that London in general as Efreet just blew up Big Ben. Dumbledore and Ollivander couldn't believe that this was happening. How was Efreet to be stopped? How were they supposed to keep the magical world hidden with that demon destroying everything indiscriminately and bringing down every ward set up to hide the alleys from muggles?
Both older wizards were shocked when they suddenly heard Harry speak. "Well, well, well, it looks like that old demon survived. Maybe he wasn't as worthless as I thought." Harry then glared at Dumbledore and said, "Get everyone you can out of the alleys and start evacuating muggle London. I'll take care of this little pest."
Dumbledore turned to Harry and practically roared, "How can you be so callous about this Harry? Don't you realize that we're almost never going to be able to keep this under wraps?"
Harry shrugged and said, "Not my problem. Consider this a wake up call. Now if you old hasbeens wouldn't mind, I've got a demon to take care of. I really don't want any unnecessary deaths on my account because you two were dealing with Arthritis. Now then, RAVEN!" With that, Harry Schneider took off into the air to face Efreet.
