No, that 'honor' was reserved for the idiot runt boy who just wouldn't stop whining.
"Come on! We've got to come up with some sort of plan to go and get them! Sakura, Sasuke, and the others are still out there!" yelped the blond brat, his eyes wide and searching.
Looking up as if beseeching the heavens for some sort of assistance, Temari groaned towards those of the mortal plane. "Will someone shut him up already?"
"What?! Don't you want to do something about this?"
"Of course, but I'm not about to do something stupid like run off without any information."
"But they have to be in a lot of trouble! We've got to rescue them as soon as we can!"
"Moron."
"Why you," he growled, glaring right at the Sand kunoichi.
"She's right, Naruto," Shikamaru murmured, putting a hand on the blond boy's shoulder. "We can't go running off right now. I know that it's hard, but you have to hang in there."
"You're agreeing with her?! They could be suffering right now while we wait around here!"
"And what can we do about it if we're caught by those things?"
Naruto opened his mouth to speak, but as the other boy's words penetrated his head, he gritted his teeth together and looked rather liked he was about to cry.
"Finally, he's quiet. I was beginning to wonder if he'd ever manage to shut his mouth. But at least you showed that you have some sense," the Sand girl grumbled.
Cocking one corner of his mouth up, Shikamaru looked over his shoulder at her. "Nice of you to mention it. But that does hurt a bit."
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah. I mean, I would have thought that you'd figure that my agreement with that 'Ranma' guy was a good plan. Why'd you think that I'd bring you here anyway?"
This time, it was Temari who started to talk, but apparently she thought better of it, turning her nose up at the two boys, a blush staining her cheeks.
"Well, well," drawled a quiet voice, as Kakashi popped in close enough to be face to face with her. "Isn't this interesting...."
"The vigor of youth," agreed Might Guy as he closed his eyes and nodded sagely.
"I just want to know where Sakura and the others are...." Naruto muttered.
Satiny pink hair bobbed with every step that she took, with her breasts jiggling under the constraint of her top. Her shapely legs strode with an even stride that didn't show any sign of hesitation. The shining emerald of her eyes shone with a focus and clarity that spoke of total acceptance of what was going on. With the tone of her lithe body, her sleek form was something that any girl would have been pleased to have.
She might have looked like an idealized version of a Sakura Haruno who'd grown up quite well... but she was most certainly not the girl whose appearance that she bore.
And she wasn't alone, as there was an Ino who was letting her breasts bobbling and her ponytail swinging as she was walking along side the Sakura look alike. Nearby was a boy who looked rather like a buff view of Sasuke, who was going right along with them. And right behind them were a bunch of people, each of whom had that same clarity of purpose in their eyes.
Of course, they were all being sent to the same place. To the Ship, this was a good plan, as they had already been decanted from their clone tanks, as their creation had been dictated as soon as the acquisition of superior genetic stock had been completed. With the availability of such strong flesh, and welcome computing possibility, creating more of it was more than desired. Yet, merely having copies of the same base organism wasn't logical from a supply standpoint. Being able to create functional units to match varied situations was necessary and duplicating the exact same base didn't fit.
There was something to be said for the random matching of genes, as there were all sorts of unexpected results from unplanned combinations. At the same time, it would allow for them to get a bunch of possible matches long before it might come in as a good plan. As such, the idea of getting the primitive beasts to breed for the benefit of the Unity was one that had been given precedence for a long time.
With this in mind, they were to be sent into to mate with those inside of the humans within the breeding preserve. This was their purpose, and as such they would be expect to pair up with the opposite gender. It wasn't what the original 'donors' would have wanted, but then the Ship didn't particularly care about the desires of anyone save for the Masters.
So, they were being allowed to go to the breeding preserve with the assistance of the Ship, while:
