Moments ago, Shampoo had expressed her gratefulness to Ranma for saving her from Dowel's dishonorable actions by inviting Ranma in eating the feast that was supposed to be set for the Champion. A quick translation from the guide later, and Ranma readily agreed. So now, Shampoo, the village Champion, and Ranma, the (-cough- cute -cough-) Outsider who saved Shampoo's well being were being served by Shampoo's contemporaries.
The problem, however...
-Munch!-
\Aww, is she not the most adorable thing?\ One Amazon asked as she stroked Ranma's sky-blue hair. Ranma just grumbled, and continued to eat.
-Bite!-
\True, true. And if I had not seen myself, I would not have believed such a small frame could hide such a fierce power.\ Said another as she served the girl another drum stick, said chicken disappearing as Ranma snatched it from her hands and eating it quickly. This had both Amazons giggling.
\True, true.\The first Amazon said, nodding her head.
Ranma for her part, just scowled (cutely, if one might add) before continuing on with her food.
The first Amazon then turned to the other partaker of the Feast, \By the way, Shampoo. Do you know what is being done to Dowel?\
The second Amazon turned to Shampoo as well, \I agree. Last time I had checked, she was still encased within that block of ice.\
Pausing from eating her noodles, Shampoo just put her chopsticks down and swallowed what she had in her mouth, before she answered, \I am not sure. Though I did hear some shouts from the Elders' Hut a-h-while ago. So the Elders must have somehow released some part of Dowel.\
The two other Amazons just nodded their heads, before all three turned back to the young girl, who was currently nibbling on a large steamed bun, staring at them in wide-eyed curiosity, incidentally making her look cuter than she already was (One could almost say that the Amazons could not seem to get over Ranma's cuteness).
The three strict-warriors-turned-giggly-young-women could not resist and squealed as they glomped onto her, \SOOO CUUTE!\.
Ranma only had a moment to give out an indignant squawk of surprise before she was smothered.
"Frigga fragga!" The currently blue-haired child shouted in between affectionate hugs and kisses.
Unbeknown to Ranma, it was a rather ominous portent if his true form would ever be revealed...
Then, after a moment of hugging the small girl, the second Amazon turned to Shampoo, a small confused frown, and said, \Did you just say 'a-h-while'? In Mandarin?\
Shampoo and the first Amazon sweatdropped.
Ranma, meanwhile, could have sworn she heard evil laughter, like that of a man sitting in front of a computer, typing up weird stories.
\Really now, Dowel. Do you honestly think that struggling like so will get you your trial done any faster?\ One of the Elders intoned as they surrounded the partially-frozen Dowel, her head being the only part freed from cold bondage.
\But that child of a swine, Shampoo cheated, stealing MY rightful title!\ Dowel grunted, shaking her head to and fro, struggling to get the rest of her from the neck-down free from its biting-cold confines. To no avail as the squarish block of ice still held firm.
\Bah.\ Another one of the Elders dismissed with a wave of her hand. \Do not concern yourself much, my fellow Elder Loofah. What I wish to know is what sort of creature the child that trapped our little sore loser is.\
\I verily agree with my fellow Elder Floss, but I would also like Justice to be dispensed on this one.\ Another Elder gestured to Dowel.
Cologne just massaged the bridge of her elderly nose as the various Elders bickered between themselves on what to do first: punish Dowel for her actions, or question the little blue-haired outsider for what she did? Really now, Cologne thought to herself, they should know better and stick to the more traditional things first before anything else.
When the elders began sticking their tongues at each other, Cologne then called out, \Enough!\
The Elders did stop bickering, though some were still sticking their tongues at each other.
Cologne groaned, \And will you all please stop acting like little children?\
