Summer, 220 AD.
Known only to individuals who were deeply involved in Chinese politics, the Han empire was on the brink of collapse. If nothing was done quickly, then China would be plunged into a period of civil unrest that it may never be able to recover from.
The symptoms were already starting to show. Endless bickering between kingdom officials, bandit activity on the rise and the common people more prone to start riots. And Aisha was still nowhere to finding the path to change the world to permanently ensure that no other innocents would have to suffer as she did. Even though she and Rinrin did what they could to protect others from the bandit gangs, the root of the problem still existed. 'Heaven give me a sign...'
"Aisha, what's wrong?"
No, she couldn't afford to let her worries get the better of her. With a small smile, she glanced at her travelling companion. "I was just thinking what we should have for supper tonight."
The smaller girl (along with her miniature tiger headpiece) frowned as she looked around the small forest area. "It doesn't look like there's a lot of game in this area. I guess it's going to be bamboo shoots again..." Her tone indicated that she yearned for something else, most likely some meat.
"Well-" She paused when she heard some commotion and yelling up ahead. From the dialect and rough language she was able to pick up, it was definitely some bandits being active and probably attacking their new victim. Her arm immediately reached behind her to grab the Green Dragon Crescent Blade. "We'll have to worry about that later. Let's go!"
"Right!" The two raced off to where the fighting took place but when they immediately arrived at the area, they saw that all the bandits had already been defeated, some in rather painful ways. Rinrin blinked in surprise. "Ehh? What happened here?"
Aisha's attention wasn't on that. Her attention was focused on the stranger who calmly stood in the centre of everything. She could tell that he was radiating some sort of strength and the one thing on her mind was that he was undoubtedly the Messenger of Heaven.
And just when things couldn't get any weirder for Rinrin, her older sister figure immediately swore her loyalty to...
