“Says here we're supposed to go to Gaza City after a stop in Jerusalem,” Akane said. “Lovely place, Gaza. Poverty-stricken and torn apart by a war between two rival parties. Guess that makes it a good place for Death Watch.”
“That, and they likely don't take kindly to women running around in 'revealing' clothes committing acts of violence,” Ranko added. “The crazies running this contest probably think that'll give us a few more targets. Something tells me if the place is as violent as they say, that's not going to be an issue.”
“Not to mention the other contestants,” Akane mused in agreement. “Look at them! They'd cause a riot in Disneyland!”
“And we'd kick their asses in Disneyland as well,” Ranko bragged. “Come on, let's go!”
Akane again found herself following a wild and rowdy Ranko, looking forward to the challenge that waited for them.

Kasumi and Nabiki stopped in front of a high-class bar and strip club, both dressed in their best evening wear. Granted, Death Watch didn't start for several days, but places like this weren't the sort of spots you just walked into on short notice. No, getting the prime seats for Death Watch viewing was appointment only.
Nabiki took a quick glance at Kasumi, who looked as classy as ever. Still, Nabiki couldn't help but notice something was strange about her. Her usual oblivious stare was gone, replaced with narrowed, focused eyes as she examined the club building, most notably the dumpsters and street signs. It's like she's been here before, Nabiki thought for a second. Of course, that was impossible. After all, this was Kasumi, the single most innocent and caring person she ever knew. Were it not for Ranko and Akane gallivanting about without telling anyone, the eldest Tendo sister would never be anywhere near a place like this, especially to watch something like Death Watch.
“Nabiki? You OK?” Kasumi looked at Nabiki, concerned by her younger sister's stare. “Come on, let's make our appointment.”
Nabiki nodded, convinced that she was over-thinking things way too much. She followed her sister's movement, looking only slightly less graceful than her elder sister. It was then that the bouncer, a burly man with deep emerald eyes looked at them intently, examining the two girls carefully.
