Deep in the bowels of the club, a mysterious figure smiled. “It's Kimiko's firstborn... Always a pleasure when she comes by.” Looking at the screen, he couldn't help but notice the bouncer stiffening up as he refused Kasumi and her companion entry. New hires were always the worst. Using his cell phone, he dialed up the bouncer.

“With all due respect,” Nabiki told the bouncer, tapping her foot impatiently, “What does it matter that we're women? Not like this place has never had female customers.”
“Don't worry, Nabiki,” Kasumi assured her younger sister. “I'm sure we can reach an understanding.” Kasumi dug into her purse to get her phone, but hesitated when she heard a ringing noise from the bouncer. I knew he was watching, Kasumi mused inwardly. Always watching, just like me.
The bouncer tapped his headset and opened his mouth to speak, but winced at the voice on the other end. No doubt his boss was just chewing him out, which caused Kasumi to smile ever so slightly. When the one-sided “conversation” was over, the bouncer turned his attention to the ladies. “M-m-my apologies, ladies,” he stammered. “Please, enjoy your stay.”
The bouncer was soon a memory as the two women entered the club. As expected, the club had several raised platforms with scantily clad women, dignified looking men ogling in a less than dignified manner around said platforms. Kasumi took charge, walking over to a table and taking a seat, Nabiki sitting down opposite Kasumi and looking around.
“Man, I heard this place was hoity-toity for a strip club,” Nabiki said, “but this is crazy formal.”
“No surprise,” Kasumi replied, sounding as demure as ever. “Everyone has something to hide. No doubt they have... Facilities here for those who wish to be a bit less formal.”
“There's a mental image,” Nabiki spat in disgust. “Though I guess this would be the kind of place people would watch a blood sport. Now we just gotta figure out how to get some seats.”
Kasumi silently pulls out her phone and dials a number, and is, as usual, pleasantly greeted by a reassuring voice on the other end.
“Hello, Kasumi,” the man at the other end said.
“Hello,” Kasumi replied. “My sister is looking to watch the games this year. Please provide the usual amenities. Oh, and I'd like to talk to you in person. There's a complication.”
“Complication?” Her friend asked. “What possible complication can there be?”
“Get it done,” Kasumi reiterated, trying to ignore the strange stare Nabiki was giving her as she hung up. “Don't worry, Nabiki,” she cooed, “Everything is fine.”
“You seem to know this place, sis,” Nabiki drawled sarcastically. “Have you been here before?”
