Of course, that did not mean that he had any reason to interfere in her life, especially with her romantic opportunities. Not that she believed that he had any special knowledge that would help her in that regard. As it was, she wasn't looking for affection right now, as she had plenty on her plate with training, and few viable prospects. And should she have wanted to garner male attention, she had little trouble with that, as she had plenty of chances to do so, seeing as she'd caught boys with their gazes lingering on her form.
No, the time for wondering about that sort of thing was for when she felt like weeding through the crude fools who spent their time leering at how tightly her leotard fit against her smooth curves.
Right now, she had better things to worry about, and that included her teammates. Even as she cradled the first girl and waved the smelling salts under her nose, she recognized that her fellow gymnasts were important to her. She needed them for her success, and she would not dare gainsay against that fact. After all, who would do the menial tasks that she would need to... press her advantages in her matches?
Still, she would not force them to stand if they were not ready. Such a thing wasn't called for after all. Only when a challenger did not understand the... import of what she was facing would Kodachi have to call upon her teammates for support during such a time. They did so dislike the idea of losing, as they knew what would come from it if they did.
Yet, that should only come up if she did not convince the challenger from Furinkan to... give the proper consideration to her participation. A simple surprise visit should help in that regard, seeing as the other competitors had always understood the wisdom of stepping back after those meetings. Just how long it would take wasn't quite clear, but it was never for an extended period. Still, to prevent any implication that she was unduly influencing possible opponents, she did prefer to make certain that she did it with as little revelation of who she was as possible.
Doing such blessings with the chance of making a lot of fuss about it was fairly bothersome, and she rather would prefer to avoid such a to do.
Pleased with the mercy that she continued to show with her competitors, Kodachi went about, making sure to wake her teammates. Although she did prefer to spare her opponents the humiliation and pain that would come with a real match, it simply would not do to not prepare for one. They really did need to practice, and she wanted no one to think that they would be unprepared if they really had to fight if called upon.
Making such a delivery was simply a menial task, but Sasuke had never been all that put out by such a job. He understood the position that he held in the Kuno home, and wasn't really all that bothered by that fact. Always having been a humble man, he had never asked for much, and being given a roof over his head and something to put in his belly was enough of a blessing for him. Besides, it was nice to know that he was considered to be worthy enough of a servant to be wanted by Master Tatewaki and Mistress Kodachi.
So, he had little concern about what he was doing, and went without reservation or complaint. Of course, he had no problem with doing it anyway, as it was an easy thing to do. He merely had to go and take an invitation and tickets to Mistress Kodachi's tournament to the Tendo home and deliver them. It wasn't even a heavy burden, and he wasn't doing anything that would garner all that much displeasure from the recipient towards him. On top of it, he thought that it was nice that his lord was willing to bring in a new friend into the event.
So, he sped along as fast as his little legs could carry him, weaving through the afternoon traffic, making certain to keep himself from being a bother to those around him, while:
