"Oh, it's a singular type, what they used to call 'unique' - which just means that there are only a small number of them but that if you kill one the number never really goes down," said a scholarly-looking pokegirl. "One of the remainder will simply give another one off. I'm a Meganekko by the way, Master."
"Wow, a real quest right off the bat," said another. "Beats being one of the auxillaries in seeding a crop."
"Well, that might be true," said the Meganekko. "Ouzou is not as combative as its smaller cousin, the Ouzii, but has some attacks we'll need to watch out for."
"It's an Amorphous type, right?" asked another pokegirl. "Poison element?"
"Yes," said the Meganekko. "You're familiar with it?"
"One of the farmers around here comes by and collects its sweat every so often," said the pokegirl who had spoken earlier. "So killing it is probably not going to be appreciated if it comes to that. Hopefully the girl hasn't driven the Ouzou into a frenzy."
The group came to a stop as the trees stopped and a gently sloping valley took over.
"The Ouzou will make its lair at the bottom," said the Meganekko, carefully stepping around some fallen tree limbs. "Not an intelligent breed, per se. Watch out for her Inebriate and Brain Drain attack."
"Oh, one of those monster-types?" said a pokegirl with a disgusted noise.
"Wait a minute," said Naruto, stopping. Originally there had been four pokegirls. Two went off with Hinata and that Dark Elf. Two had come with him. So why did he count FIVE of these gals with him?!
"Yes, Master?" chorused the girls.
"The longer I remain in this world, the more of you are going to show up?" guessed Naruto.
"Most likely, Master," said the Meganekko with a shrug. "You are going back to your homeworld after this, right?"
"Yeah," said Naruto.
"There are a lot of quests and adventures in your world, right?" added one of the other pokegirls.
"Yeah," admitted Naruto.
"There are lots of guys who have smoking hot bods like yourself, true? Who currently do NOT have a harem of their own?" added a third.
"I guess," admitted Naruto, remembering that there WERE a lot more guys in the Ninja Academy than girls.
"So, yeah, I'd say that the longer you stay in this world, the more likely it is you'll have a small army forming," concluded the Meganekko.
"Oh heck," said Naruto. "Let's just concentrate on saving Sakura now, right?"
"Who's Sakura anyway? Sounds like a Samurai-ko," said one of the pokegirls.
"I thought she was one of his existing pokegirls, but from what the others have said," said the Meganekko with a slight hesitation as the group began leaping/running/etcetera towards the center of the dome-shaped valley, "she's actually a human girl who the Master fancies who actually loathes him."
"She doesn't 'loathe' me, well, not much anyway, I mean," Naruto slid to a halt to protest but then began to think about it. "I mean, just because she swats me aside to talk to Sasuke... maybe it's more just a little dislike"
"Your 'Truth Aura' going?" asked one of the pokegirls to another.
"Like I can turn it off?" asked the one addressed with a shrug.
"Is that the pit?" said a pokegirl, pointing. "I think I can blast the rim from here. That should cause this Ouzou to come out of it's hole."
"Or it'll just pool down at the bottom," pointed out the Meganekko.
"'blast'?" asked Naruto in mid-leap.
That was enough to be taken as permission.
