Peekabu knew why the Ouzou had a naked girl dangling from a framework over its hole. The girl was quite obviously being used as a lure by the subsentient monstergirl. It was also quite obviously not working.
"Are you sure that's not a boy?" asked one of the other pokegirls. "I mean she's too flatchested to even qualify as a Tomboy."
"WHAT?!" yelled the distant girl, apparently hearing something of that.
"She's just a kit," consoled the Meganekko. "She keeps getting a hand or knee in the way, but I can see that much from here. I'm sure she won't look so masculine-"
"HEY!" protested the distant girl.
"-when she's been through puberty," finished the Meganekko.
"CUT THAT OUT!" yelled Sakura.
"Uhm, she's fourteen," said Naruto.
"You're kidding." "Are you sure she's not a Tomboy type?" "Maybe she's a Drag King." "Blood Curse maybe?"
"WOULD YOU STOP INSULTING ME AND RESCUE ME ALREADY?!" yelled Sakura.
GLORP! went something in the pit as several slimy tentacles reached out.
In truth, though only semi-sentient, the Ouzou knew from her taste that Sakura was too young and not developed enough in any case. It was only concerned now because of the noise level of the lure.
Sakura, having been stripped nude and made mildly inebriated by the monster earlier, came to an entirely different if understandable conclusion. "AHHHH! SASUKE! A TENTACLE MONSTER IS ABOUT TO RAVISH ME!"
"I'll stop it!" said the Peekabu. "THUNDER BOLT! THUNDER WAVE!"
Lightning hit the creature several times. Unfortunately, it was trying to silence Sakura at the time.
"Oops," said the Peekabu as the monster and victim both lit up and twitched a lot.
Sakura sagged down under the attack but had enough energy to say one final thing. "This day cannot possibly get any worse."
Dramatic thunder rumbled.
"Don't look at me!" said the Peekabu. "I did the zap but not the followup."
"That doesn't bode well at all," said the Hakima.
"Well we rescued both of them," said Naruto. "How long will it be until they're ready to go?"
"Oh, just a few more hours," said the Nurse Joy. "That's quite a harem you've acquired."
"Not my fault, not my idea, not mine," insisted Naruto.
Hinata merely nodded in the background.
"Well, these two will recover quite well. No permanent damage was done. The Tomboy was suffering from some alcohol poisoning, and the Ingenue from Stun Spore." The Nurse Joy tapped a few things out on a computer keyboard. "We can put them in pokeballs and you can take them with you."
"They're purebred human, so you can't put them in a pokeball," pointed out the Meganekko.
"But that one is so flat, she looks..."
"We know," said most of the pokegirls present.
On a cot nearby, Sakura frowned in her sleep.
"Weird customs," grumbled Naruto, "might as well return home and come back for them."
"So is it agreed?" asked the Dark Elf. "Which of us will you take with you this trip?"
