*ZIP ! ZOOM ! ZING !* Ranma was running nearly at his maximum speed. He didn't have time to lose. The Lich King was one of the worst villains of Gold Digger and defeating him wouldn't be as easy as with Saffron.
*ZIP ! ZOOM ! ZING !* Britanny Diggers was pursuing Ranma and gaining on him. She was older and more experienced, her best running speed was better than Ranma's. When he was in glomping/catching range, she swiftly jumped and tackled him to the ground.
*CRASH !* "Owie..." "Oh, my head..."
Ranma's eyes boggled when he saw who had sent him crashing down on the ground "Britanny-san !? How did you get here ?"
Britanny blinked. They had ended up in a really compromising position and she had been busy trying to snuggle "Better question. Why did you leave !?" Being like this felt nice, yes. Ranma's fur was soft and inviting. If she leaned over just a little, she could taste Ranma's lips. Jeez, was it hot here or what ? The little voice who kept saying "You're married to Stripe ! You love your muffin ! Are you even listening to me !?" grew more and more distant.
Suddenly, angry female voices were heard "BRITANNY ! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING !?!" The two werecheetahs turned to see that the other girls had caught up to them. They magically teleported several meters away from each other, blushing madly.
"RAAAANNNNMMMAAA !!!" That would be a pissed-off jagwere, a jealous weretiger and *gulp !* oh hell, an angry father. Ranma identified the man with a flaming skull replacing his head as Theodore Diggers. Worse, he could see Julia Brigand-Diggers, his wife, with him ! Why did these things always happen to him ? The Saotome secret technique looked more and more appealing right now...
"Ranma ! You've got some explaining to do !" Everyone blinked. Was that stereo ? It seemed more like a dolby surround home cinema with all these voices saying the same thing.
The werecheetah martial artist gulped then remembered why he was running in the first place "No time ! Gotta go fight the Lich King ! I need your help !" Ranma had grown up since the Great Will touched him and he now understood the value of allies. The fight with Saffron had proven that.
THAT got everyone's attention "WHAT !?!"
