Ranma's New Life - Red Steel: A Dressing Situation [Episode 221357]

by Kender

"Yes," said Minsc, pointing at a shop selling uniforms for pokegirls.

It wasn't an amazing place, though it was better than some might have thought it would be. Clothes of all sorts, from maid uniforms, to overalls, to martial arts costumes were visible in the windows, which made for a rather sizable choice available. Some of it did look like it was going to be expensive, but it was obvious that the cheap stuff could very well be of low quality. When one went shopping, it was up to that person to figure out what exactly it was that they would need, and make their purchases appropriately.

Of course, this was something that Ash/Ranma understood, as he'd had to go shopping on the road before hand. What he couldn't get was just why his companion was so keen on getting in to that sort of place. Sure, it was okay to shop, but that did seem to be a bit much for a simple shop they were passing by.

Raising a brow at his tall friend, Ash frowned slightly. "Are you sure that you want to go in there?"

"What are you saying?" Minsc replied. "You would want to shop at that establishment as well, friend Ash."

"I would?"

"Certainly. Would it not be good to have something for your pokegirls to wear?"

Ash considered what he was saying for a moment before having to admit to himself that it was a good idea. He didn't know much about how pokegirls might react differently than the original sort, but from what he could gather, it was likely to fit what he was already familiar with. That would mean that they would want to have more than one outfit, which would make sense. Heck, he didn't think that those basic things that they wore in the professor's lab would be worth much, and knew that he wouldn't like to wear only one outfit himself.

"Do you see what I mean?"

"Sure," Ash admitted, sighing. "I just have to wonder if I'm going to be able to pay for them all to get something."

"Worry not, for we have much to do with this. And there is a fact that will aid us in this quest for supplies."

"Yeah? And what is that?"

"A true hero must dress appropriately to been as an ally of justice, which means that we have to be able to get these clothes!" Minsc declared, puffing out his chest as he did so.

Just giving the bigger man a flat stare, Ash began to wonder just what sort of world that rogue psychic had put the other trainer in. Fortunately, it didn't seem to be all that bad of a mental landscape, although he did have a feeling that he should be looking out for windmills in the near future. In the mean time, he had other concerns at the moment that seemed to be a bit more pressing.

"Come on. We'd better get them something to wear," the shorter trainer muttered.

"Exactly, friend Ash," Minsc agreed. "It is time to clad our companions in the armor of true heroes!"

"Whatever you say."

"Truly, we are a pair that understand each other completely and utterly."

"I'm not quite sure about that," Ash/Ranma said under his breath as they walked, while:
