He decided to get some fresh air by walking around the Courtyard. It was a pretty nice day outside after all. And maybe the air could help him clear his head and help him figure out how to handle the girls.
".... I can't quite get it!"
Ogami blinked. 'Erica-kun? What is that girl up to now?' He quickly headed over to see the red clad girl finish climbing a tree and trying to reach for a balloon stuck at a branch just beyond her reach while Sakura, Iris, Kohran and Coquelicot were watching from below.
"Erica, try harder! You're the tallest one here!" shouted Coquelicot from the ground.
"That's right! Erica-han can surely do it! I guarantee it!!"
Kohran's words seemed to have an effect on the French nun as she tried even harder to reach for it. "R-really? All of a sudden I feel like I really can reach it!"
"B-be careful! Maybe we should get a ladder or something," said Sakura in a worried tone.
"Go for it, Erica! Make the jump right there! Iris and Jean-Paul are rooting for you!"
A look of determination appeared on Erica's face. "All right! Here I go!!" She made the leap... and Ogami realized that she wouldn't be able to catch the balloon and land safely at the same time. Just as she managed to grab the string of the balloon, Erica realized that she wouldn't land properly and screamed in reflex. "Haahhh!!"
Without hesitating, Ogami ran forward to catch her. "Erica-kun, here I come!!" Before anyone else could react, the Captain of the Hanagumi managed to catch the girl in time while twisting his body so that he would be able to cushion her fall. As soon as things were settled, he glanced at the girl he held tightly. "Are you alright, Erica-kun? Are you hurt?"
"Ogami-san... did you by chance come to save me?"
He sighed in relief, totally missing the hungry look in Erica's eyes. "Thank goodness. Looks like there's not a scratch on... mmph?!" Anything else he might have said was cut off as Erica pressed her lips against his.
Kohran's eyes had just bugged out behind her glasses. "Oh my goodness! Erica-han, what are you doing?!"
"WAAHH!! Onii-chan belongs to Iris!!" wailed the young blonde.
One second later, Erica released Ogami's lips with a flushed look. "Um... t-thank you for saving me."
"Y-you're welcome..." He was totally in shock at what just happened.
The French nun giggled a little. "Hehe... that was my first kiss..."
"Yeah, me too," replied the Japanese male in a dazed tone.
"Unacceptable..." A faint pink glow erupted from one Shinguji Sakura. "How could you just take Ogami-san's first kiss like that, Erica-san?! We were supposed to have a fair love rivalry!"
"Stealing is prohibited in the Ten Commandments, right? What type of nun are you to just do something like that to Ichiro?" asked Coquelicot who was far from happy at this scenario.
"All's fair in love and war. And he did respond back a little to my kiss so it wasn't totally stealing!" countered Erica.
As the others started bickering again, Ogami merely wondered whether he would be able to live long enough to find that woman who put him in this mess.
