That meant that one could hear the labored pants of the boys currently laying on the floor.
Looking down at the older boys that had been threatening him only a little earlier, Ranma scowled at their current state. He made no move to help them, either by reaching down to give a hand up, or by calling for medical help. Instead, he gave them a mere glare and a small laugh in return.
"You guys really should see what you nearly got yourselves into now. I went easy on you, but I might not be that nice later," the pigtailed boy told them. "I don't mind if you like them, just don't be jerks 'bout it, okay."
The boys on the floor gave annoyed groans as they lay there clutching at their injuries.
"It shouldn't take ya too long to get back out of here, so I'll go now. Hope I don't have to see you again."
Even if they had wanted to, the older boys couldn't have stopped their target from leaving. Not that they would have tried, as the little puppy they'd been planning on harassing had turned out to be an experienced wolf. Going after him had been a bad idea, and now they could see it. In fact, several of them gave off sighs of relief as they realized that the martial artist wasn't there to beat them up any more.
"You should be thankful that he's so nice," murmured a feminine voice.
At the sound of that, the bullies peered up again and saw several of the objects of their desire standing over them. Their positions gave some of them a chance to look up those girls' skirts, though they weren't exactly in a shape to enjoy the view. Of course, being found like this wasn't all that appealing either, seeing as they prided themselves on being 'strong men' and the girls that they'd been wanting to be with were seeing them in a pathetic state.
"That's part of what we like about him," Rei continued. "And since what you were doing to him was not nice, we're not liking you too much right now."
Haruka smirked nastily at the fallen boy. "If you thought that you could have gotten us to date you, you're stupider than you look."
"And we won't be forgiving the fact that you went to try to force Ranma to abandon us," Makoto growled as she cracked her knuckles.
With a completely calm expression, Michiru went and locked the door closed behind them.
It was right about that the boys that had wanted to pound Ranma into letting these girls go began to whimper in fear.
She usually wasn't one to support violence, but Nabiki wasn't too put off by the sounds of beatings going on beyond the door that she was standing in front of. To her, those boys had simply been asking for what they got, seeing as how they'd gone and try to force their desires onto others. Not only did they have no finesse, but they didn't even think of the possibility that the girls might not want to be with them in the first place. Every time that she thought that she had see how completely dumb boys could be, they tried to be even more idiotic then they had before.
Of course, there were other things to be amused by as well. "Annoyed, now are we?"
"Humph," went Akane as she crossed her arms over her chest and leaned against the wall. "Why would you say that?"
"You want be in there doing the pounding on those boys. I can tell."
Giving a great big sniff, Akane didn't honor the comment with a response, and just stood there while:
