Not because fighting girls was against his code of honor or something. He didn't like hurting girls, and he certainly was inclined to not fight full out against any particular opponent.
The vast majority of those using the fighting arenas, sparring mats, workout suites, and firing ranges were female. Sort of. Android gals, maids, alien gals, elf-looking girls, ninja gals, winged girls, samurai girls, girls dressed like maids or waitresses and such, and so on. There WAS the occasional male present, though they were way in the minority.
A blonde guy who accepted a peck on the cheek from that 'Tifa' girl before going back to brooding. Swordsman of some kind?
There was also a sickly-looking kid who came to check in on that kunoichi named Akira.
It just seemed so weird to see something like that though. Like he had changed channels to briefly look in on 'Young Ninjas In Love' with that Akira gal.
Most of the gals involved seemed to have NO attachments, and some of that group made him feel like he was an all-you-can-eat buffet. Which gave him a lot of sympathy for the one his father had run into in Hokkaido that one time. Not that he hadn't wanted to make his own inroads into that establishment.
Still, it was martial arts. Something he KNEW. As opposed to robot maids, elf maids, and everything else weird that had been hitting him since last night.
"Sir, you can't..." said Doctor Lorelei.
"Sure I can, I'm in charge, ain't I?" asked Ranma as he flipped to a position on one side of a sparring mat.
"This really isn't a good idea," protested Doctor Lorelei.
Ranma grinned as someone went to the other side of the mat. Looking a little uncertain about the match, but the posture didn't indicate any hint of uncertainty about their ability. Perfect. Just what he needed to cut loose and burn some frustration.
