Helios looked at Ranma in his Zeo Ranger 5 outfit and smiled. Even if Ranma was rather rude, it was a joy to see a Power Ranger standing in the Command Center once again. The young looking priest then said, "Okay Ranma, Your powers are as follows: a massive increase in all your physical abilities, an energy well that can be used for both magical and martial arts special attacks if you ever develop some, complete protection from standard youma energy draining abilities, and heavy protection from all forms of physical and energy attacks. Your suit also comes equipped with a Zeo laser pistol and a Zeo laser blade."
Ranma nodded his head and thought about what Helios had told him. Zordon's promise of granting him the ability to fight the youma in exchange for becoming a Power Ranger had been kept. Zeo Ranger 5 then said, "Sounds impressive."
Helios rolled his eyes and then replied, "That's just the basic package Red Ranger. As the Red Ranger, you also get the Red Power Sword as your power weapon. Your knew sword is far stronger than a Zeo laser blade. But, the real stuff is in the hanger."
Red Ranger turned to Zordon's power tube and asked, "Hanger? There's a hanger in this place?"
Zordon nodded his head and wisely stated, "This room is only the control room of the Command Center. The Command Center is a fortress constructed to be the Power Rangers' base of operations. As such, it is equipped with such necessary rooms like laboratories, training rooms, residential suites for the Rangers, a medical bay, a cafeteria, a recreational room, and a fully stocked bar. The hanger is where the Zords are stored when not engaged in battle."
Ranma was left too stunned to speak and decided to 'borrow' an old technique of his father's. Helios and Zordon were shocked to see the Red Ranger pull out a sign from no where and said "We, have a bar?" -flip- "What's a Zord?" -flip- "Anything else to spring on me?"
The two ancient caretakers of the Command Center decided against trying to contemplate how Ranma had used a three sided sign with only two sides. Helios was the first to regain his voice, "We also offer a great free health plan courtesy of the medical bay, A decent paycheck thanks to the fact that I laundered part of the Earth Kingdom's treasury, and an absolutely pathetic retirement package. Now, do we go check out the Zords or do I need to break out the smelling salts?"
Ranma forced himself to stand straighter and firmly said, "I'll go check out the Zords. Just tell me, what are Zords?"
Zordon spoke up, "In the past, some enemies have possessed the abilities to make their minions grow to enormous sizes. The Zords are powerful war machines constructed to allow the Rangers to fight overgrown monsters on an equal footing. Since you are the only active Ranger, you will have to rely on the Red Battlezord to fight any of Beryl's forces if she has the power to make them grow. Understand Lord Ranma, that the Zords are only to be used to fight an enemy that is significantly larger than a standard human. To use a Zord in a regular battle presents too much risk of collateral damage."
Red Ranger nodded his head and said, "I understand Zordon."
