A huge loop of blazing plasma blasted into space, borne on invisible wings of tangled magnetic force from the edge of a hurricane swirling across the star's surface. The heat dissipated as it soared through the endless abyss and its light quickly faded, energies diminishing as it propogated and spread out.
The physical components lagged behind, while twisted magnetic fields raced on at lightspeed toward a world far different than our own, one where even the continents had a different configuration, and political entities were just as unfamiliar.
Humans who could harness their inner energies were relatively common on this world, and as humans often do had turned their special abilities to finding n and more interesting ways of doing harm to their fellow man. Organized first into ninja clans and then larger, more powerful 'hidden' villages (most of which were not truly hidden at all, since customers had to be able to find them) these supersoldiers had enabled feudalism to survive even as technology advanced.
Even that technology was remarkably altered by the existence and common use of ninja arts, especially sealing arts - though functions and outer forms would be familiar to an observer from our world, the innards of devices were made up of carved or painted seals rather than the electronic components found in other places and times, and powered either by chakra storage seals, or raiton energy - electricity - generated with simple batteries or dynamos and converted to neutral chakra as needed due to the ease of transmitting it through metal wires. Clockwork or machinery were rare and built on a one-off basis, and while internal combustion engines were known steam power was far easier to build and maintain.
In a few hours the laggard ions and Helium atoms would cause a beautiful aurora display around the planet's poles, but for now the magnetic storm was working less visible, but ultimately far more significant changes.
