Once the sync was completed, the assistant turned to Ranma and said, “You’ve got 60,000 yen left from the coupon. Do you want to spend it now at the supply shop or do you want it to go on store credit?”
It only took Ranma a second to make his decision and he said, “Take us to the supply shop.” Kami only knew when the Saotomes would be back here in this area. Genma kept the duo, well trio now, moving to keep up with the tournaments. Ranma turned his head towards Kiima and gestured for her to follow him. A quick glance at his slave’s naked form reinforced Ranma’s decision to put the store credit to use now.
Kiima sent her new master a heated glare and then grudgingly followed him. The processing that went on during the enslavement process made it almost impossible for a slave to directly disobey his/her master/mistress. However, Kiima still had her pride as a phoenix woman and she was, annoyed, over being owned by a landling. There were ways for a slave to cause a great deal of trouble while still following orders and she knew it. Kiima fully intended to exploit these loop holes to henpeck her new master into insanity, unless her master was somehow worthy of being her owner. But that, Kiima was sure, was an absolute impossibility.
The only reason why Kiima promptly complied with Ranma’s silent order to follow him was the fact that she didn’t want to be standing around in the nude. It was grating to Kiima that this boy she was following had the right to see her body. However, the thought of prancing about like a hatchling showing her form off to the world was enraging to Kiima. She quickly folded her wings about herself for modesty when she left the sync room.
Ranma and the assistant quickly walked towards the supply shop with Kiima following a few steps behind. A crowd of onlookers made of young teenagers quickly started following the trio. There was a great amount of complaining coming from the overly horny young men over what Kiima was doing. The noise caused Ranma to turn his head to see what was going on. He immediately gave Kiima friendly nod and thus, almost caused her to lose her balance.
The assistant quickly departed from the duo once they got to the supply shop. Ranma immediately started looking around and muttered to himself, “First things first. Where are the clothes?”
Kiima decided it was in her interest to be helpful and said, “Master, the clothes section is that way.” It took all of Kiima’s willpower to not spit the word ‘master’ out of her mouth as she pointed towards the clothes.
Ranma quickly followed Kiima’s finger and started walking to the clothes section. As he did so he spoke up, “Good eyes Kiima. Oh, don’t call me master. I’d prefer it if ya just called me Ranma.” There were a few jerks at school who insisted on their slaves always referring to themselves as master. This really gave the word a bad taste to Ranma. Besides, there were a number of people who preferred to keep things informal with their slaves. Thus, this wasn’t an unusual or unexpected request.
Kiima immediately burned that request into her mind. On this, at the very least, she would never cause trouble for Ranma. The duo quickly arrived at the clothes section and Ranma once again did something that threw Kiima for a loop. He turned to her and said, “Alright Kiima. I want ya to pick out three outfits for ya that can stand for some wear and tare. Make sure to keep them simple since we’re just using the credit.”
While it was unusual, Kiima wasn’t about to question Ranma on this matter. The phoenix woman forced herself not to fly as she rushed to the clothing racks. She quickly grabbed some underwear and some blue jeans. Tops were a little tricky for Kiima due to her wings. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything available that would fit her, except for the Arabian harem girl tops. Kiima seriously considered tearing holes in the back of some blouses for her wings, but such holes would be too awkward to work with her wings without compromising the blouses. So with great reluctance on the top issue, Kiima brought her selection to Ranma.
