Now Horniculus Reaper—‘Horny’ to his Dungeon Keeper—may have already been one of the most destructive forces of the Underworld, but he considered himself a cut above his usual brethren. Sure, he was immune to lava and numerous traps and was especially skilled at fighting, killing, slaughtering, maiming, destroying, massacring, murdering, and spreading genocide like other Reapers, but he had a few other tricks up his sleeve as well as a reputation.
With his scythe and stun projectile spell, Horny was pretty much unstoppable and could not be killed on the battlefield, merely slowed down—as long as it took to cleave through his obstacle before moving on. Yes, even when other Reapers fell at the hands of the almighty Avatar, he himself was considered invincible. Not only did he manage to aid the almighty Keeper Dis in killing that divine asshole but Horny proved himself even more powerful than that when he faced one of the Legendary Stone Knights, the ancient last defenders of the Gateway to Castle Skybird Trill; the Greatest Overworld Kingdom that ruled over all others in the continent of Alecrest. So powerful and feared were these inhuman warriors, that is was accepted as fact that simply no force existed within the Underworld that could beat them, that these creations of magics forged and enchanted in a topside kingdom long since lost to the sands of time were what would forever bar the Underworld from wrenching the accursed sun from the cerulean skies.
And then he was the first and only creature in recorded history to kill one of them. Yes, he, Horny, who made it his goal to kill everyone and everything that tried to stop him, to simply get in his way... destroyed one of the Stone Knights of legend, allowing his master, the great Keeper Dis and his armies to make their attack on the surface, becoming the first to ever make an attack on Castle Skybird Trill.
Yes, he was a monster to be feared... it was also why he’d been sealed away. No one thought he could be controlled; his power too great. It was why no Keeper, even after all this time, tried to retrieve him. They knew as soon they tunneled in to try and recruit him, he’d use their own passage ways to get out and back into the Underworld proper.
And being honest with himself, Horny knew that was EXACTLY what he’d do. Fortunately for that which appeared in front of him, he’d have to allow them to live... f only so they could get him out!
Oh yes, he’d help them become a Keeper... and then he would once more rain sweet terror upon the lands above! Yes, he would serve...
