⑨ One-Half - Orchestrated Boundaries: Too Much Racket [Episode 225223]

by Falgabird

There was not much to say, considering the two strangers staring each other, one in disheveled surprise, while the other with curious wonder.

...Well, to be frank, curious wonder was replaced with a dazed concussion, but one works with what material they had on hand.

While the author discussed (to themselves) the ethics of readily available joke materials, Ranma was beginning to feel a mite self-conscious, as people, warriors and villagers alike, stared at her, each with curious wonder. There were even some perverted leering from amongst the crowd, divided evenly between men and women alike.

Though Ranma would have preferred to have been unconscious instead of self-conscious, if she had been honest to herself, but then saying that was, in her way, an admission of defeat, and Ranma Saotome, even as a girl never quits, nor loses.

There was a rustling of cloth as the stranger in robes stirred. Everyone looked at her as she stood on shaky legs.

Aya, for her part, just shook her head.

"Damn, Yukari," She said towards the blonde, at the same time massaging the top of her head, trying to soothe the pain on the spot where the pot landed on her, "always up to your sneaky little tricks, eh?"

Ranma blinked, once, then another time, then a few times more.

"Eh?" She said ever so eloquently.

Recovering, Aya did not hesitate getting right into Ranma's face, "Oh, don't act dumb, Yukari; the signs, the water, even that train thing." She grinned, half-glomping onto to the girl, making Ranma yelp in surprise, "Trust an old woman to be so childish."

As the cursed girl sputtered about being called old, even if it was an old woman, Aya then gained a confused look, as she peered around them, "Where are Ran and Chen, by the way? Shouldn't they be with you at all times, or something?" It was at the time that Aya noticed exactly what Yukari (Ranma) was wearing.

She began laughing, ignoring the sounds around her.

-shing-

"Ahahahaha, and what are you wearing?" She punctuated this by pinching a portion of Ranma's gi top, "I mean, all of your dresses, and you wear these rags?"

She made an emphasis on her point as she pulled a bit, loosening the tattered fabric enough to show a nice, teasing view of Ranma's cleavage, "Look, I can even see your boobs!"

Many of the men, and some women who went that way, sputtered, and tried to peer around the black-haired stranger to look at the blonde's figure. Though, for the most part...

-fwoosh-

Of course, Ranma reacted subconsciously, and shoved Aya away, then fixed her top.

"Who are you!?" She shouted pointing an accusatory finger at the person.

Aya looked at Ranma oddly.

There was a moment of silence before Aya glomped onto the blonde once again.

"Ahahahaha!" Aya laughed aloud, indecently groping the gi-clad form, "Good one, Yukari!"

"Hey! Where the hell are you-! No, not-! Damnit, stop that!" Ranma struggled to pry the girl off of her. But it was to no avail, as the groping hands only increased their grip on her...parts.

"Well," the tengu reporter noted, "is it just me or are your boobs actually bigger?" She ignored the martial artist's struggles, opting to squeeze some more.

The answer to her question was not answered in any intelligent form.

"GAH!"

She was about to face bigger problems anyway.

"Ahem." Someone interrupted behind Aya. The reporter stopped what she was doing, and turned towards the speaker-

And a rather large crowd of people, all holding weapons, mostly pitchforks, and torches.

"Um, yes?" Aya said nervously.

Instead of answering, the speaker, who turned out to be the new Champion, the purple-haired Amazon named Shampoo, pointed at something on Aya's back.

Blinking once, Aya complied-

Only to see her jet-black tengu wings fluttering innocently in the wind.

...Ah.

Aya gulped, then laughed nervously some more.

The purple-haired Champion said something in her native tongue, before she swung at the tengu, as of now mistaken as one of the nigh-legendary Phoenix tribe.

Ranma, recovering from that ordeal, saw the attack. Her mind comprehended that the attack was for her.

As a martial artist trained well in her reflexes, she reacted accordingly.

With a burst of speed, she appeared in between Aya and Shampoo, startling both. Unfortunately, the mace had already been swinging towards Aya, though it was now coming towards Ranma with tremendous momentum.

This had not bothered Ranma in the slightest as she kicked the bonbori out of Shampoo's hands, launching it vertically into the air.

Shampoo was shocked for a moment, before she recovered, then proceeded to strike out with her other mace. Ranma responded by spinning on her heel, and blocked the mace from its downward curve.

There was a sort of timing for what happened next, as Shampoo's first mace finally peaked, then began descending.

Ranma evaded and blocked Shampoo's assault, before she took a pro-active stance, and delivered a solid kick to Shampoo's chin, sending her straight up into the air.

There was a sense of irony that the mace chose that moment land heavily on the Amazon's head.

The Guide, having watched the confrontation with trepidation, saw this, and paled, "This bad. This very bad."
