"Meep meep!"
ZIP! ZOOM! ZING!
Ranma made a noise too as soon as the acceleration and speed became obvious.
"YEEHAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"
Which wasn't precisely a Japanese exclamation so much as a heartfelt one.
"HAH! Now..." managed someone otherwise unidentifiable in the time it took for a speck on the horizon to suddenly be THERE and then be slamming the roadblock aside.
"...i have you," said that someone after they'd come to rest in a tangle of rocks.
Canyons flashed by, rope bridges were bypassed, leaves and dust and the occasional small animal all got whipped around and carried by the wake of Ranma's passage.
Butterball stopped well short of the town, then just waited as the dust slowly settled down.
"The Land Of Fabric," said Ranma, remembering it. A land of weavers known for their skills in raising giant cave spiders and the various other necessary things to produce the tough silks it traded with other countries. Here was the village of Lingerie, and their dreaded leader - the Pantikage. Okay, it wasn't one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations. They didn't even have a Hidden Village. Though it wasn't exactly poor or the natives unskilled. If you didn't think it took some skill to milk a Fabrique Silk Spider and collect its silk - you likely had never seen one of the double-fist sized things.
Ranma shuddered. Still, all he'd have to do was deal with a guard who could deliver the message. It wasn't like he had to go IN.
