Ranma slept peacefully in the cooler waters where he had stored his precious gems and gold. He needed to build a lair now that he was an adult. Burrow into the mud and carve out a palace all for himself, he'd already started on the far bank with a small tunnel that went in twenty feet. He was hoping to burrow up now to start carving out some room out of the water where he could build maybe a trapdoor to the surface so he could walk around in human form a bit. He was wrapped around a large piece of sandstone that had all his precious gems and coins with his head resting on it and was hugging it between his foreclaws.

"Alright people split up and search for him, we have only so much time until we're forced back to our own dimension we need to be in contact in him to take him back." Cologne said calmly, she needed this to work she had lied through her dentures and until her tongue threatened to turn black in order to convince all of Ranma's Rivals, Suitors, and Family were present as they homed in on him. Only one had to be in contact with him when the time ran out.
If they weren't in contact with him when the time ran out then everything would be for waste, luckily they had several hours. "All right! Treasure!" Genma shouted and Cologne sighed and pogoed out to him as the rest of the NWC came towards him as Genma dived in turning into a panda and reached to what looked like a plate of treasure with a dragon statue guarding, it was probably built in honor of some forgotten river spirit with the offerings left forgotten at the bottom.
"Greedy fool we have a limit of time!" Cologne snapped then her eyes widened as a hand of the statue grabbed one of Genma's paws and the thing opened it's eyes and snarled at him. There was a gasp.
"Greedy monster, don't you dare touch my hoard!" the dragon snarled forcing the panda up a little and then it let out a blast of water strong enough to blast Genma clean out of the water and away. He rose up through the water and turned to those on the left seeing Nabiki, Akane and Ukyo as well as Nodoka. Then he spun through the air this time in a counterclockwise action to see Cologne, Shampoo, Mousse and the Kuno siblings staring in awe.
"Humans..." he said rising up again and looked down on them. Then stared at Cologne. "And a gnome..." he remarked and she bristled in anger but did not strike.
"How is it that you have come here? This island is a refuge for the true dragons of the world." he said staring at them.
"We are searching for one of our number who has vanished, the artifacts we have brought us here to find him." Cologne said and the dragon nodded.
"There have been no humans on this island for over a decade and a half. Until now." the dragon said and there where looks of despair.
"He was a young man, black hair his name was Ranma." Cologne said in desperation and the Dragon's eyes widened.
"There was one... but he is gone." The Dragon said starting to fly in a clockwise circle this time rising then dropping though the center of the coils then starting a larger circle before landing in the water and hovering straight up his foreclaws crossed.
"What's happened to him? Where is he?" Cologne demanded in the shocked silence.
"Not where, but whom." the dragon replied. "He arrived as a newborn given a new lease on life his memories erased, not a one of us were able to discover what had brought him here or for what purpose, but he could not survive upon this island. There are no means to care for an infant here but a wyrmling on the other hand could be." the dragon explained.
"W-what's a wyrmling?" the woman with the sword asked.
"An infant dragon. Fifteen years ago the oldest and wisest of our number Riikano transformed him in a ceremony combining magics both arcane and divine. Into myself, the last of the Lung Dragons." Ranma said before levitating up and vanishing from sight.
"A-Airen?" Shampoo asked nervously.
"Airen? Is that word supposed to mean anything to me?" he asked reappearing his head staring at her a bare foot from her face as his body reappeared the rest of his body coiled nearby the Amazons and Kuno siblings.
"R-Ranma?!" Akane demanded and the Dragon laughed before it rose up and faded out of sight.
"Yes I am Ranma, but not the one you came for, he died coughing in the volcanic air of the central mountain, he drowned in a nearby hotspring. He died in the many ways that a human may die. But I am not human. So that raises the question as to why humans have sought me out. Hasn't it?" he asked. Reappearing and then glowing brightly and shifting into a human shape, into the Ranma they were familiar with but with only a pair of simple dark blue pants being the only thing that had kept him decent.
"So just what are you people supposed to be to me?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
"I-I'm your mother, Nodoka Saotome." Nodoka said and Ranma held up a hand and pointed towards a nearby cloud formation that was high up but a slight away from the island.
"No, living on that cloud is my mother, the Silver Dragoness known as Aesthyrondalaurai to my kind and the Silver Queen to yours. She raised me, watched me my whole life, spent more hours with me then I spent with myself. Taught me right from wrong, taught me magic, languages, everything I know and am is because of her and the other dragons of this island." Ranma corrected calmly deliberately watching the effect of his words. Three years ago Aesthyr had taught him about his origins but it meant little to him since she had always been there for him. "I am a dragon my name is Vrakarhesjing, I may be in human form at the moment but it's nothing more then a mask."
"Comeon Ranma-chan show your master some appreciation!" a weedy voice said and Ranma was splashed with water from his own stream and a gnome jumped onto him. He blinked in confusion as the little thing scrambled around looking for something that he obviously couldn't find.
"Electarious gratsarin." Ranma said grabbing the arm of the offensive gnome and sending a hundred thousand volts into the little pervert's now twitching body as he peeled it off and kicked him into the distance. "I don't even want to remember that gnome." he said seriously.
