"So let me get this straight mom." Shinji started about an hour after the left THE EARTH. "You are an alian princess that took up the name Ikari so that you could live in you own accomplishments and not be overshadowed by your parent's and families very long shadow." he got a nod.
"With my grandfather being the crown prince of an inter-galactic empire of near immortals on tp of being the avatar of the goddess of his people." he went on encoureged by her nodding. "And your mother one of his many wives is a former criminal and pirate with the ability to wipe out entire civilisations singlehandedly." he went on and she nodded again.
"Furthermore the author of this book which using a hidden data tranmitter enhanced my intellect is my biological grandmother, a mad scientist and the physical form of a GODDESS OF KNOWLEDGE." Shinji finished off holding up his book and she nodded again. "Ahh, if you'll excuse I'm going to try and get to a carpet before I..." Thump! Shinji was out. Super Genius or not he was still a bit of a weenie.
"Well he took that better then expected." Yui said sweatdropping a little before picking him up and carrying him to a place to sleep. They were on the same ship she had used to come to Earth and they were making very, very good time. Her Cabbit partner Lin-Ohki was very, very fast.
Several Hours Later
Shinji stretched and his eyes quickly snapped open. He did not have silk sheets. He looked around and intellectually he realized there was a 95% chance of being totally safe and in a palace where he was in line for the throne. Just to be on the safe side though he reached into a subspace pocket for his SPAG mark 2, with twice the power of the prototype and roughly the size of a handgun.
"Hey cutie pie!" A voice said and Shinji jumped back and right into the arms of the speaker. "Nice to know I've got such a cute looking grandson!" Ryoko said with a big smile. "And ooh! You've got a nice little toy there! You're definatly one of mine!" she giggled.
