Besides, what sort of martial artist wouldn't like to have a place like this at his disposal? There were some that preferred the old styles and equipment for teaching, and there were those that liked to have as advanced devices as possible, and it looked like he had them both here. Not only was he going to be able to use a place that the best of everything, from the most mysterious to the most advanced, but he was supposed to own it all. And not only that, but it was staffed with really strong fighters, and, if this girl was any indication, they were not going to be pushovers.
Once he got himself back to breathing steady and finished off the water bottle, he stepped back to the ring and started stretching. "Seems like I'm not gonna be bored here, if nothing else."
"You really are using me to pass the time then, Master?" Saki asked as she reluctantly came out of her corner.
"Not really. It's not many times that I get a fight like this in, even if you're not the best in technique."
"Then I'm disappointing you...."
"Well.... Maybe a little, but not after we get ya trained some. Don't ya worry, I'll make sure ta help you as best as I can."
"You're personally going to help me?" Saki gasped as her eyes went all sparkly.
"Something like that. I can at least point out where you need improvement."
"Yes, sir!"
"Good, good," Lorelei called out, clapping her hands as she stepped out between the two of them. "I'm glad that the two of you are getting along so well, but we have other things to see about."
Ranma frowned at the human scientist. "Do you have someone else for me to fight?"
"No doubt we do, and even though I'm sure that we could get a lot of benefits from that, we do have other places to be."
"What? Why can't we just stay here?"
"Other than the fact that you said that you wanted a tour, and there is more of the estate to see?" Lorelei asked, arching one brow.
"It's all still gonna be there later, right?"
"Yes, just as this place will be. But then I suppose that you wouldn't want to look over the security offices, or see the medical wing. Or maybe you don't want to stop in the kitchens for whatever snack your stomach desires."
At the mention of food, the pigtailed boy's belly growled, and he flushed even as he lightly scratched the tip of his nose. "Well, I guess that moving on wouldn't completely hurt...."
The scientist smiled, and more than several of the maids took note of their Master's apparent love of food, while he was led out to go to:
