Code 00 with a side of Geass: Elseworld Memory Museum - Black Knights I [Episode 228833]

Everywhere the Emperor looked, those particles of light were present. In particular, the structure known as Heaven's Door.

It was an alternative method that was considered when developing their plans to create a kind and gentle world. In the event that Ragnarok would not trigger, Heaven's Door would be used to merge all living and dead humans into a single collective consciousness. The research that his brother did on it eventually concluded that they currently did not have all of the pieces needed to open it.

According to V.V., there were three conditions, two of them which dealt with constructing a proper access between their world and Eden Vital, the energy that has ruled over creation since the beginning of time before the universe existed in the first place. As a part of Marianne's soul went back to the cosmic energy of the universe, she was able to form a wormhole between their world and Eden Vital. The Sword of Akasha could then act as the connecting gateway.

But they were missing the last piece. A specific type of Geass which could interface both with the Sword of Akasha and trigger Heaven's Door to open. Despite all his efforts and the number of Geass users that V.V. had created, they were not able to find that one component. Eventually, they put that plan aside and concentrated on the Ragnarok concept.

And now, Charles zi Britannia was observing Heaven's Door reacting to the light particles that surrounded it. 'Can it be...... that Gundam is the missing piece?' Just as he finished that thought, Heaven's Door glowed twice and sent out two pulses of energy that seemed to travel along those particles and back to where they were originating from, which was the Thought Elevator. It was an unusual form of feedback, one Charles could not identify. As far as he was concerned, there were too many questions and far too little answers.

That needed to be rectified.

Obviously from the way his guide uttered that previous question, Setsuna realized that something had gone out of order. Unfortunately, before he could try and pry into what happened, the image of Rai vanished and his entire surroundings changed again. This time, he was in a hospital room where he saw Rai lying on the bed coming to his senses. The groans he made as he came to brought in two visitors to his room. The black-clad red haired girl and the masked man known as Zero himself. "Rai!!" The girl was about to rush forward when Zero held her back.

"Easy there, Q-1. He's been through a lot."

While her cheeks flushed red with embarassment, Rai tried to get up from the bed and shake off his sluggishness. "Zero? K-Kallen? W-what happened?"

"The Special Administrative Zone opening ceremony was a complete success," answered Zero in that authoritative tone of his. "Rai, you have my deepest gratitude for helping this dream become reality and preventing it from falling into disaster."

"You cast some sort of magic, right? To cancel out whatever spell was placed on that girl," clarified the red haired girl identified as Kallen.

His nervousness started to show as they talked about the 'magic' that he had used. "How much do you know about...?"

"I have a brief understanding thanks to my accomplice. It appeared that someone in Britannia tried to sabotage the opening of this Special Administrative Zone and cast a spell over Euphemia to kill all the Japanese in the stadium."

"It was pretty hard for me to believe what Zero had told me," said Kallen. "But I saw how sincere she was when she made her declaration at Ashford Academy during the festival and it's probably the only real explanation that makes sense. It must have been some seriously powerful hypnosis there to get her to try pulling off what she did."

The masked man nodded. "Indeed. The Special Administrative Zone is a step in the right direction but it is only the beginning. There is much work ahead of us to make this a long term success so I ask you..." He held out his left gloved hand. "... will you work together with me and Euphemia to nurture and protect this Special Administrative Zone of Japan?"

While Setsuna was intrigued at seeing this new side of Zero, Rai merely smirked before shaking his leader's hand firmly. "Geez, Zero... did you have to ask?"

"You can count me in as well," declared Kallen.

"Thank you, Twin Guardians of the Order." The hospital surroundings then blurred and was replaced with a Knightmare Frame maintenance bay where Rai, dressed in a blue pilot suit that had a distinct logo on the left shoulder, was fine tuning his assigned unit along with a few members of his support crew from the Black Knights.

"Good, arm joints are working nicely. Next..." The blue Knightmare Frame he was working on was similar in design to the red one Setsuna had observed leading Zero's forces at the Chinese Federation embassy. The most distinct feature on it was the left arm, which had no armour and instead had a red palm at the end with three digits. There was an equipment pack attached to the back of the machine that seemed to be some sort of general support pack rather than a combat support pack since Setsuna couldn't spot any weapons on it. As for actual weapons, they were stored next to the unit itself as he could spot a custom handgun for the mecha along with a sword.

Before he could get to work on the next section, he heard somebody calling him on a private radio channel. "Rai, come in..."

He immediately went to his radio. "Zero?"

There was a heavy pause before he heard his leader's voice which carried a distressed tone. "The worst case scenario has come to pass. The Special Administrative Zone has collapsed."

"...... all that work for the past year... gone?" He couldn't believe what he was hearing while Setsuna was surprised that the puppet state managed to last that long.

"I need you out there to help evacuate the Japanese to safety. Go along route J. Once you catch up to Zero Division, prepare to execute Plan Theta."

"Gotcha. Rai out." He shut off the radio before he opened the cockpit on the back of his unit. The setup was quite different from that of the Gundams as the cockpit had a motorbike-type setup with the pilot leaning forward to get a good view of the visual feedback and a good grip on the controls.

After hopping into the unit and closing the access hatch, he whipped out an activation key and thrust it into the slot to start up his machine, which was identified as the Type-3F Gekka Test Type on the startup screen. The power readings rose as the Yggdrasil drive spun into action. Once he was able to move, he strapped on the handgun and sword before he heard some shouting from below thanks to his audio sensors. "Boss, we're counting on you!"

"Leave it to me, guys! Gekka, rolling out!" Soon, the blue Knightmare Frame was flying in the air, traveling along the assigned route Zero gave him.
