Once she was able, she took a look around the place that she found herself in. It didn't look like much though. First off, it was small and cluttered, with the decor looking like had been set up by a pack rat. Books and papers covered the small tables, and the shelves looked like their contents had been put where ever they had fit. The chairs, such as they were, looked worn and old, as if they had been there for quite a while and seen much use in the mean time.
"What a mess," she muttered to herself.
"How rude can you be," grumbled a familiar, and all too unwanted voice, "Coming into someone's home uninvited and then insulting it!"
The neo-Corellian's head turned slowly to look at the speaker as she gulped.
"But I'll forgive you," said the old man who looked to be no bigger than an Ewok, "It's been so long that a pretty young lady such as yourself has come to visit good old Happo Stai!"
"Ack!"
"I didn't think that I would cause that sort of reaction..," Happo said.
"B...But... You're not supposed to be here..."
"Oh, that," the little man in the furs said with a shrug, "After some... problems I had, I figured that this might be a good place to stay for a while, with what went on here and all. Damn Mistryl, never could take a joke, or let a poor old make have his fun."
"You... made that 'Mistryl' person mad?"
"Why I don't know. I mean, it was innocent, I swear it! But who could blame me, what with such a nice firm rear that she got from all that training... Mmmmm... I can remember how Rynn looked to this day. She and her Mistryl sisters were always so delectable..."
"He's just as big a pervert as Happosai ever was," muttered Akane under her breath.
"What was that?"
"Nothing! Really!"
"Is that so?"
"Yup. Uh-huh. Nothing but the truth!"
"I see... So, you mind telling me why you just barged into my home like that?"
"Your home?"
"Yes, 'my home'," Happo said testily, "I mean, I sort of moved here to be away from people for a while."
"Uh... well, you see... there were these E-whaks, I think that's what they are called..."
"'Ewoks'?"
"Yeah, y'know the little teddy bears that are alive? Well, they've been following me around, and something about them keeps on making me sneeze and have watery eyes you see..."
"Oh, so you're allergic to them, is that it?"
"Something like that."
"Why didn't you say so in the first place! I'm sure that I can make you nice and comfortable," said the old man as he stroked her calf.
While the captain's eyebrow was twitching,:
