Ranma, the Naive Succubus - Anything Goes: Nice Kitty? [Episode 231362]

by Alias49

Nabiki looked up from her work with a frown. She was in the A/V room, calmly splicing recordings of Gosunkugi in a dress looking helpless with older recordings of the boy and smoothing it out to create a properly humiliating spectacle.

But now there was something tingling her empathy. Fear. No, stark raving terror. Panic. Horror. It was impossible to think, even just looking at it from the outside. To experience it, she was sure her mind would break.

And then she felt it break. Horror was replaced with...fur? Nabiki wondered what emotional state would feel like fur. Warm, soft, silky, like a...kitten.

Nabiki was out of the A/V room and running towards the source of the feeling as fast as she could.

"Those pigtails are mine!" Kuno exulted as he walked into the gym. He ignored the patterings of his lessers as they admired his magnificence.

"Don't make eye contact!" whispered one such lesser.

"No, really?"

A sudden racket from the gym stage attracted all eyes. "What is?" was all that they got out before it exploded in a geyser of...cats?

"YOWR!" yelled a tiger as it jumped into Kuno's arms, crying and looking behind it in terror.

"I will not date with you!" declared Kuno.

"Myew?"

"I don't think it's asking for a date!" yelled the departing students.

Kuno's retort died upon a blur of motion. Bounding around the gym was Saotome, crouched low and pushing off the walls and floor with his hands and feet as he ricocheted towards the kendoist. The tiger eeked and tried to hide behind Kuno as Ranma swiped with his hand.

Kuno jumped ack and watched the simple gesture gouge a hole in the gym floor. "Are you mad!?" he accused, swinging his bokken at the figure.

Ranma hissed and swiped the air again. Kuno pulled back half a bokken, the wooden blade shredded along with his clothes and the gym floor.

The tiger made a break for it while Kuno stared at the feline Saotome. "Fetch!" he cried, throwing away his useless weapon. Ranma bounded after it. "The coward has run," Kuno declared.

"Ranma!" Akane cried, watching the deranged martial artist run away. She set herself into a stance. "Kuno-sempai! What happened?"

"Ah! Tendo Akane! I have rescued you from Saotome! Enter my arms!"

Kuno was last seen entering low orbit.

Nabiki made it to the gym in time to see Ranma run out and climb a tree. He was curling up on a branch like a cat, and people were beginning to stare.

Nabiki cursed and went over her options. No one was looking at her yet, and it was obvious Ranma was too far gone to reason with. "Still, if he thinks he's a cat," she muttered, looking around.

"Words cannot reach him now."

Nabiki didn't bother to ask what Genma was doing here. There were more important things to do than listen him talk about an old woman...why was Ranma's father in drag?

Nabiki watched, stunned, as Genma convinced Ranma to shred a tree and go bounding off. "Ranma...how the hell did you do that?" she whispered.

Later. Now, she had to stop the madness. Convincing Ranma to sleep would do it; not like it was hard to make a cat nap. There was a simple ritual she used to help through the hard times when a glass of warm milk wasn't going to cut it. She hastily scrawled the right rune into the soft ground and put a foot on it before anyone could see. "I hope this works," she said, focusing on the hidden symbol and keeping her eyes on Ranma.

Man-cat paused. Scary man was gone. Nap time? Mmm. Nap time! Where nap? Nabiki! He bounded back and jumped on his mate.

Nabiki let off an oomph as Ranma curled up in her lap, and it took the full might of the Ice Queen to stop a sappy smile from showing.

Then Ranma kissed her. In front of everyone.
