Restart Deluge! Team Pendragon!: Home Timelines : Cornelia and Charles [Episode 231862]

"Next - Cornelia Gaston!"

"Yeah!"

Lelouch smiled, and turned back to the glowing ball in front of them. Now what kind of world could Cornelia had come from?

A Knightmare cockpit, in which a pink-haired girl rode happily and maniacally, eyes glittering slightly red around the edges

"Don't worry, Sir Guilford - I have you securely in hand..."

"So I see." The Knight who was quite literally curled up in Euphemia's - yes, it was Euphemia, strange as she looked in a pilot uniform - KMF's hand murmured, quietly.

Long hair and dark glasses - This was Guilford, all right. Lelouch stared at the scene, wondering just what could be happening.

Euphemia - Those eyes...

"So, ahh." The Knight sighed, then. "Are you planning on a public execution, or a private one? I suppose it is too much to hope that the torture could be kept to a minimum..."

"No torture, and no execution either." Euphemia said, brightly.

"Don't be silly - Connie wouldn't have liked that at all, really! And anyway - You don't really want to live the rest of your life as a lab rat, do you?"

Connie. Oho.

Cornelia Gaston, in the meanwhile, was getting redder and redder.

"E - Euphie you idiot - what are you doing!?"

That was a good question, sure enough. Lelouch snickered, but stopped himself from commenting that that Euphemia probably couldn't hear her at all, really.

"Ahh - Miss Euphie..." The Knight sighed, yet again. "You are quite right that I do not especially wish to spend the rest of my life as an experimental subject, but - Just what are you proposing as an alternative?"

Euphemia giggled at that. Lelouch felt a shudder go done his spine.

"We're going away now, away to - someplace quiet. Someplace where people wouldn't bother us, or not very much, anyway. - So I'm taking you there with us. Till you get better."

" - Do I get any say in this at all?" The Knight murmured, faintly.

"No, silly, of course not - You're being kidnapped by the infamous Black Knights, after all!

And after that, there was only tinkling maniacal laughter.

Cornelia headdesked as the scene faded from the ball of light.

"Noooo..."

Lelouch looked at Clovis, who looked as mystified as he probably did.

...So just what were the Black Knights in Cornelia's world, anyway?

"Next - Charles Winchester!"

Ahhh. Lelouch turned around and looked at the glowing ball of light.

This should be - informative, if nothing else.

Yet another look-alike of Clovis was running along a alleyway,, somebody who looked very much like yet another of his Half-Sisters - Carline or Meitha, perhaps - on his back.

"Uncle Vivian! They're catching up!"

"I know, I know - Damnit Rolo, hurry, will you!"

A middle-aged man who was somehow familiar screamed into something that must be a mobile of some kind.

Lelouch stared at him, and then froze. Vivian. V.V.?

"Clovii..."

The Carline look-alike whimpered, holding on to the other Clovis's back with a death grip. Her legs were incased in some strange boot-like contraption, with the straps looping up to her waist, Lelouch noticed.

"Damn it - Carly, can't you run yourself!?"

"The stuff Da made her helps her walk, Uncle - It's not all that useful for running though back streets, all right?"

The other Clovis muttered.

"And where's Roland, anyway?"

"I have no idea - Damn it, we need a pickup, yesterday would have been good but I'll take right now - Damn you Charles, you weren't supposed to die before me I was born before you damn it - !"

"It was only twenty minutes difference, Twin - you idiot." Charles Winchester murmured, softly.

And that was when the door opened up from nowhere, right in the street.

"Ta da, everybody, sorry for the lateness - "

The other Rolo said cheekily, poking his head out of - A door sticking out of nowhere, on the street.

"Oh, stop that - Move, you.

Vivian said, pushing Rolo aside and grabbing his niece and nephew.

"And tell Command that I want to talk about fixing Carly's legs properly, all right?"

Lelouch stared at the ball of light as the door faded from the steet - and then the entire scene faded entirely.

Charles Winchester was burying his face in his hands.

"You have already been informed that your kinfolk have been recruited for the Local Garrison of your Timeline of origin, correct?"

Sentry's voice said quietly.

"Yes, I knew, I knew, but - Gaaaah. Vivian, you idiot..."

"Can..." Charles paused. "Can they fix Carly's legs?"

Sentry's answer was quick and simple. "Yes."

"Hmph." Charles murmured, and then smiled, softly and sadly.

"Good."
