"That is unacceptable," bellowed Soun.
"I need her to tell me where to find this wizard guy," pointed out Ranma. "Frankly I ain't counting on her being in the most reasonable of moods for now."
"Oh. Good point." Soun conceded. "Well, understanding what you go through with curses should help bring you two together."
Ranma wondered what color the skies were in Mister Tendo's world, but that was pretty normal.
Kasumi, because she was Kasumi, merely smiled and was glad that at least Akane wasn't tracking mud into the house anymore. She had this horrible tendency to go stomping about in a rage, you see. Tsk. Oh, and look at how cute Akane was.
While Kasumi went off into her own pre-scandal Martha Stewart sort of world, Nabiki was making calls and profits explaining the newest twist in the relationships via telephone.
Akane tried hard to calm herself so she could switch back. This wasn't going very well.
However, this situation couldn't last.
Well, actually, it did last. Roughly four hours.
Ranma had gotten a nap and dinner had been served.
Kasumi had built a doghouse, picked up a bag of K9 Krunchies (loaded with all the luv, minerals, and vitamins to keep your puppy healthy!), another box of doggie treats from that nice Spells R Us shop, and had gotten dinner out of the way.
Genma and Soun had hatched and discarded three Plans, and played two games of shogi.
Ryouga had taught the doggie to "sit", "play dead", and "drop it" and had wondered at the moans of bliss coming from her muzzle when he'd scratched her belly. Also why Nabiki had laughed until she had passed out from lack of oxygen.
Alas, this idyllic after dinner scene was interrupted by:
