[Episode 1783] [Episode 1783]Akane munched sullenly on the "K9 Krunchies" that Kasumi had presented to her - in a dog bowl, inscribed "Akane", to boot ("Wasn't it great that the nice man at the shop had one with your name?"). Somehow this had been a lot funnier, when it had been Mr. Saotome, who received a plateful of bamboo.
The "cute" collar around her neck and the dog house - also with her name painted on it - were not helping Akane to calm down and let go of her anger. However, once her belly was filled and Ryouga had given up on "teaching the bitch some tricks", a lull of contentment settled over Akane. She lay down comfortably on her belly, before her dog house and let the digestive torpor take her. About half an hour later she turned back to human, but she felt too relaxed to get up - which prompted Nabiki to shoot many surreptitious photos of Akane in that position.
What they did not know was that Kasumi had innocently bought the doggie treats that Akane had gotten as a dessert, the collar she was wearing, and the bowl with her name on it from a new shop called "Spells 'R' Us". Officially they were "adult role playing aids - to help you get deeper into your role", and of course there were certain… penalties, if one happened to ignore the instructions - but Kasumi was blissfully unaware of this.
It would still be some time before the changes in Akane would become apparent, but sooner or later the rest of the family noticed that
