"Yes," rumbled the god of thunder. "I would not ask otherwise."
Toltiir's tail lashed back and forth as he considered the petition. I shall consider it. Mind you, it must come at a time she needs it. The first time that level of need occurs normally would be at the Chunin Exam, which is almost three years from now.
"Things have changed already," noted Thor. "These changes continue to ripple and reflect through their reality. Who is to say that such a path need be trod again?"
Bruised, beaten, sore, dejected, depressed.
The young girl limping her way to the Academy could be described by any of these terms as well as a number of similar ones.
"Hey, Hinata!"
The young girl straightened up slightly, a smile flitting tentatively on her face.
The boy was taller and broader than her, though still with the wiry slenderness of youth. Those experienced with such things though could tell that once through puberty and into his full growth, he'd be exceptionally tall and tend towards a strong build.
His hair was wild and blonde and tied back in a ponytail. Someone might expect whisker-marks on his face, but that someone would be disappointed.
Others might look at him and glance towards the stone face of the Fourth Hokage on the mountain. At age ten though, there wasn't THAT much of a resemblance.
Another Naruto might have favored the color orange. This particular Naruto favored blacks and grays and dark blues. Storm colors.
Walking to school alongside the boy with the sky-colored eyes, the girl stood a little straighter and stepped a little quicker. Someone less charitable might have pointed out that she had to walk quicker just to keep up.
