"Huh?" Ranma said displaying his wit. "You..kill..marry?"
"The boy is wondering why you want him to marry this girl? She's not one of your daughters, right?" Genma said, adding, "Plus from her movements it looks like she doesn't practise Anything Goes. She can unite the schools, can she?"
"SAOTOME, YOU WILL NOT SPEAK ILL OF MY DAUGHTER SHAMPOO!!!!" Soun said as his head swelled up, turned purple and oni-like. Soun's head then shrunk down. The Saotome men had jumped back and trembled at the image. "Shampoo is as much my daughter as any of those related to me by blood. She is of course connected to me by blood that flows in my two youngest. If she wishes to accept the honour pledge that is her decision!"
"What about uniting the schools? She doesn't know the Tendo branch of Anything Goes." Genma said, thinking that he had hit a winning point.
"Then Akane and I will just have to teach her our school." Soun said firmly.
"What?!" Shampoo asked. She was surprised that her stepfather had suggested that she learn his family style. Or that her rival and sister would help teach her. She looked at Akane, who had a smug smile on her face as she looked at Shampoo. 'Maybe this isn't a good idea.'
"It will be nice to have more than one student in the family style. It should make sure that the Tendo School of Anything Goes continues to survive." Soun said with a smile. "So that is settled. Shampoo will marry Ranma and learn the Tendo family style. So when do we start planning for the wedding?"
"Soun, I think.." Gel said, moving next to her husband.
"Wait, do I get a say in this?" Ranma asked as he moved towards the Tendo family. "I am too young to get married. Plus I have my own problems. I have to get cured of my curse. I don't want to stuck as a weak girl all of my life."
"Weak!!!" Shampoo said raising her Bonboris.
"Girl!!!" Akane said lifting a table.
In perfect sync, the hit him in rapid succession. Knocking Ranma out. Gel looked down at the young man on the floor. "Now that he had coming." She looked at Genma, and icy glare hitting him. Genma twitched nervously. Remembering his wife.
