Lamp Of Mihoshi: Miscast Wish [Episode 23441]

by dogbertcarroll

“Either you make the wish or I'll end up saying something stupid like; I wish I could beat the stupid out of people,” the pigtailed martial artist said throwing his hands in the air in frustration.

“Granted!” Mihoshi chimed with a smile and a wave of her hand, before turning into smoke and sucked back into the lamp which vanished with a pop.

Nabiki's eyes almost popped out of her skull. “You mean that was a real genie?!”

“Why would I bother you with a fake one?” Ranma asked bitterly. “I shoulda known better than to trust Nabiki...” he muttered before striking himself in the head. “Stupid!”

There was a thud and a tiny greyish green monkey creature hit the ground behind Ranma.

Ranma spun around and stared at it, knowing instinctively what it was. That hairless monkey with the sharp claws was his stupidity of trusting Nabiki.

The creature blinked dumbly before climbing to its feet and leaping at Ranma.

Ranma brought his foot down and winced at the popcorn like sound of all of its bones shattering. Thankfully Ranma's trust of Nabiki had been a rather fragile thing, about the size of a large rat.

“I'll get a mop,” Ranma said.

“I could've had a wish!” Nabiki muttered, not noticing what Ranma had killed.

Ranma finished cleaning up the mess just as Nabiki worked up a full head of steam. “You cost me a wish!” Nabiki accused.

Ranma looked at her like she was a Kuno. “I can't believe I was ever stupid enough to trust you, much less pay you to make a wish for me.”

Nabiki quickly backtracked, “I could have made a wish that benefited both of us.”

“Sure, like you'd do that.”

“Ranma, don't you believe me?” she asked, faking tears – something that always worked against him.

“Good crocodile imitation; been spending lots of quality time with Mr. Green Turtle?” Ranma asked sarcastically before snorting and walking away.

Nabiki wondering what she'd done wrong; Ranma always caved when a girl faked tears. This bore investigating.

Ranma walked along with a spring in his step, feeling better about his wish after he’d had some time to think about it. Sure he hadn't cured his curse, but one of his major headaches was gone, since he no longer had to worry about Nabiki tricking him and who knew what else he could do with his amazing new power?

“I could beat the stupid out of Kuno!” Ranma said excitedly before frowning as he remembered the small weak stupidity he'd stepped on and then tried to scale it up to Kuno level.

An image of a Godzilla sized foot coming down from the sky and crushing Ranma popped into his head.

“Okay, maybe I can beat the stupidity out of him a piece at the time like in stages...” the pigtailed martial artist muttered.

“Ranma! Prepare to die!” Ryouga shouted as he spotted Ranma and attacked.

“Blaming me for all your problems!” Ranma shouted with a quick chestnut fist.

A hundred and twenty three green and red wasps exploded out of Ryouga's back.

The Lost Boy just stood there blinking, a bit stunned from having his mental landscape rearranged.

“You might want to deal with that,” Ranma suggested helpfully, pointing behind him.

Ryouga turned around. “Uh oh...”

Ranma split, leaving Ryouga to deal with his own problem. “It feels good to help people,” Ranma thought, ignoring the screams of pain from Ryouga coming from behind him.

Grumble Ranma's stomach growled loudly.

“I really should get some lunch,” Ranma decided.
