"Over here."
Her momentary panic fading, Hinata smiled and blushed a little as she remembered that she was stuck in a tropical resort setting for a week with her crush. She made her way up the stairs to the roof platform, then looked at whatever he was staring at.
After a few minutes, she decided to ask. "Wh-what is that?"
"Hell if I know," said Naruto as the smoke-thing made a mechanical noise as it probed the shore.
Hinata got the distinct impression that the whatever-that-was didn't like the water. It probed the shore for a few more minutes before swirling off and heading into the forest.
"Whatever that is, I get the feeling it ain't friendly," said Naruto. "Maybe that's what happened to the last people who owned this bottle."
"B-b-but we have to go to that shore to get to the platform," pointed out Hinata.
"Yeah, which gives us five more days to find a way to distract it or fight it," said Naruto. "Hey, did I show you the clothing machine?"
"Eh?" asked Hinata, looking down at her clothes. "Uhm."
"C'mon," said Naruto, grabbing her hand and leading back to the communal room.
"'Mark IV Acme Auto-Closet'," read Hinata. She glanced at Naruto's swimwear, and then the dial set to [Swimwear] and blinked. She tried turning the knob. [Yukata] replaced [Swimwear] which was itself replaced with another turn by [Priest/Priestess Costume] which then gave way for [School Uniform] which caused Hinata to pause at that one.
"I'm gonna go read up on those jutsu," said Naruto. "Maybe there's something to deal with smoke snakes or something."
Hinata blinked and watched Naruto go, then decided to try something safe.
"To test your elemental affinities?" asked Naruto as he read the scroll. "Cool! Hmmm. I think I saw a supplies drawer over here somewhere."
Toltiir chuckled as a Hinata Hyuga in a sailor-style seifuku, not a Sailor Senshi version, exited the clothing machine.
Of course, with everything there in the bottles - including a way to go from one bottle to the other - they could concievably be in there in there until they were eighteen. Hmmm. Maybe he ought to add a 'revert to normal age when leaving the magic world' effect.
He strongly suspected that when the Third Hokage learned of it, that said Third Hokage would want to use it frequently. ESPECIALLY because of the difference in time. A lunch hour that would last a week with no disturbances or paperwork to follow him?
The only problem was that if the Hokage learned of it, others would learn of it, and they might take it away from Naruto. Well, it was easy enough to add a way that Naruto could "lock the door" to other people. There were so many of the huts and shacks and other places that you could put a locking artifact, and Naruto had explored... three.
Hinata went up to the roof, then used her Byakugan - looking over things.
Toltiir cocked his head as he watched things playing out. Maybe he ought to do something to/for Hinata? She certainly could use some help at this point. Maybe...
