Cologne was drinking a cup a tea during the celebration of the Elder Festival. In another two years, Shampoo would be old enough to enter the challenges for being chosen as the Champion of the Amazons. To gain the blessed armour and weapons of the Champion, the blessing of the divine patrons of the Chinese tribe Amazons and the chance to search for the Ancient Amazons. The ones who held great wisdom, yet were hidden from Patriarch's World.
The village was decorated in the traditional colours of the ancient tribe. Red, gold, blue and white. Symbols of the great civilization that had given the Chinese Amazons their first Matriarch. Those colours even showed up the special dresses that had been given to the younger generation as part of the heritage they shared in and would develop someday.
It was also a time when all were welcomed in the name of sisterhood. As long as they didn't bring evil into the village, else they were faced with a harsher reply than normal. Amazons hated those who would dare to mar this day. Envoys from the Musk and the Phoenix people had arrived this day as part of a minor peace accord, as expected. But what was unusual was the arrival of a Japanese duo, from the new that Cologne had heard from the herald.
"Most likely looking for some secrets of the arts, if the word of their skills were right." Cologne said as she looked over the crowd, sipping her tea. She saw an older fat looking Japanese man with a Japanese looking son. She shifted her vision to view their chi.
The distance her tea was spitted out would do Linda Blair proud. 'The boy's chi is like a minor sun. He is like a living force a nature with that chi. A student like that would be something to kill for, even if there wasn't a potential for marriage into the tribe.' Cologne said as she thought of the possibility of this boy's friendship with the tribe.
Then her thought turned to the other at this festival. The Musk, the Phoenix, even her own fellow matriarchs! She had to get this boy under her wing as soon as possible.
