Just as Kodachi put her helmet on, Satomi's scream rent the air. Immediately, she ran towards the kitchen, and burst in to see her brother holding Satomi by the wrist, a large knife in his other hand. Upon hearing her enter, Kuno turned to face her.
"So, the demon child is not alone." He pushed Satomi into a chair and held out the knife defensively. "Face the Blue Thunder, if you dare!"
Kodachi glanced over to make sure Satomi was safe, then threw herself upon her brother. As she did so, she activated a special implant in her throat. The implant would temporarily alter her vocal chords, so instead of human speech, she emitted dolphin clicks. This way, Kuno would not be able to recognize her.
Kuno thrust his knife at her, but it simply glanced off her suit. With a loud screech, she ripped the blade from his hands and tossed it away, being careful to avoid throwing it near Satomi. She then lifted Kuno off his feet and pinned him against the wall. Raising her syringe, she paused.
I know I have to protect Satomi, but can I kill my brother? Even though I feel no affection for him, it would most certainly attract unwanted attention?
