The Naruto watching from outside the timestream was getting the feeling that with a pair of big sisters and a little sister watching him - he couldn't get away with a LOT of stuff.
Watching them, looking nervous and putting her hand up at a couple of points as if she wanted to intervene, was a woman entirely made of water.
"Uhm," asked Naruto as the scene continued to play out. "What's going on?"
"Your development of fuuinjutsu or seal techniques and finding some durable cardstock in a waste bin behind a printing company, and you came up with the idea of summons. Apparently you heard that among the most powerful and versatile of ninja techniques were summons, and this was what you came up with," said Toltiir with a grin.
"Well," said Naruto after a few moments. "She's better looking than a toad, but what IS she?"
"That's Undine, your first Summons-Card," said Toltiir. "She's a water-elemental that your summoning card basically defines. She is composed of water, which means you have to have a water source available to summon her. She can shapeshift somewhat, and manipulate water in her immediate vicinity."
"Why's Tenten upset then?" asked Naruto.
"You didn't define any clothes for her, or dismiss her, and Undine followed you home," said Toltiir.
"Oh," said Naruto. "So do I get any others?"
"Well, of course," said Toltiir, raising an eyebrow. He duplicated one from Maito Gai just to be obvious about it. "Though your summons CAN be dismissed when damaged in an attack, and there are other limitations. You manage to make several for different elements."
The scene shifted, with Naruto facing three bullies and a bloodied-faced Ino Yamanaka behind him. The image-Naruto pulled out a card, invoked it, and a female form rose up out of the ground. This one looked to be in her mid-twenties, was quite well built, and looked like a stone sculpture. One of the bullies was apparently an early bloomer and went down with a nosebleed. One of the others tried to fight and was backhanded into a tree. The third bully screamed and ran.
In the image, Naruto talked to his summons - who nodded and picked up Ino (despite the girl squawking protests and struggling) and followed Naruto to the clinic.
