"Yeah," said Naruto. "Let's see... Summoning!"
Lines spread out from Naruto's hand as it slapped against the ground. Followed by a bulge forming in the ground which quickly shaped itself into something else.
"That's a gorilla made of rock," noted Tenten. "A ten foot tall rock gorilla."
The gorilla grunted.
"Yeah?" asked Naruto, wondering what Tenten's problem with it was.
"Igoo," grunted the ape.
"Okay, Igoo," said Tenten. "Nice to meet you."
"There something wrong with him?" asked Naruto.
"Other than a complete lack of stealth?" asked Tenten. On seeing the ape begin to sulk, Tenten was quick to append that. "Not that I don't think you're a FINE summons. If all we got were combat missions, you'd be invaluable. Other than you being made of fragile rock, that is."
"Igooooo," said the ape, slamming his chest with one massive fist.
"He's not that fragile," said Naruto. "He's strong too."
"What about speed?" asked Tenten.
"Igoo," said the ape.
"Well, admittedly, he's not as fast as he could be," said Naruto. "He's not exactly slow though."
Ignoring the way the ten foot tall, multi-ton, gorilla was making weight-lifter poses, Tenten shook her head. "No. Definitely need something more versatile."
"Versatile?" asked Naruto.
"Yes," said Tenten. "Fast too. The faster the better."
"I'll see what I can do," said Naruto, turning to the ape. "Sorry, Igoo."
"It'll wait," said Aoba. "Today we have a D-Rank mission and training."
"Really? Something where I can practice awesome spells?" asked Naruto.
"No," said Tenten. "D-Ranks are basically chores around the village. What is this one? Painting fences?"
"We're clearing a field," said Aoba.
Naruto blinked and then turned and smiled at Igoo. "Igoo, have we got a job for you."
"Okay," said Aoba as Igoo went through the field, lifting boulders out of the field and tossing them to the side. "That works."
"If it's worth having a ninja do it, it should be done with style," agreed Tenten.
"Told you Igoo could come in handy," said Naruto.
"Today's training will be tree climbing," said Aoba Yamashiro, demonstrating the technique in between ground-shakes as another boulder hit the stack.
