“Wait! Let me get this straight! You’re a Princess and you kidnapped me?” Ranma asked as Pluto tightened the ropes holding him to the chair.
“Yes! Now hold still so I can tie you up tighter!” Pluto snapped, annoyed that the cotton rope she was using wasn’t cutting into his arms the way she recalled them doing to the last person she kidnapped.
“...Wow! So THIS is how Akane must feel all the time... neat!” Ranma smiled happily, glad he wasn’t going to have to do anything this adventure except sit around and wait to be rescued, let Akane see how it feels to do all the work for a change.
Pluto knew she was forgetting something, but what?
“Setsuna-mama, why do you have a cute boy tied to that chair like Haruka-papa does to Michiru-mama every Sunday night?” Hotaru asked curiously, but with no trace of shock or alarm. Being the adopted daughter of Michiru and Haruka was an education all on its own.
Pluto smacked herself in the head. Oh yeah, she was in the kitchen and not at the Time Gates. “Stupid rules about who I can bring to the gates,” she muttered to herself. “He’s the key to getting all the Senshi their powers back.”
“How is kidnapping him going to do that?”
“His grandmother is Sailor Sol and she is the one holding the contract over our heads. I’m going to use him as leverage to make her release us from the contract keeping the others from using their powers,” Pluto explained, praying Hotaru wouldn’t have an attack of morals and protest like the Inners no doubt would.
Hotaru looked Ranma up and down and considered her options.
Pluto tried giving Hotaru a pleading look, while Ranma just smiled cheerfully at her.
“OK, I guess that’s reasonable,” Hotaru said thoughtfully. “But we can’t leave him down here where anyone could just trip over him. Put him in my room and I’ll keep an eye on him.”
Pluto gave Hotaru a big hug. “I’m so glad I can count on you!”
“We’ll also need money for pizza, so I can feed him without anyone getting suspicious.”
“Why can’t we tell Haruka and Michiru?” Pluto asked confused.
“What they don’t know…”
“They can’t let slip.” Pluto positively beamed before she attempted to pick up Ranma, key word being attempted. “Ugghh!”
After a few minutes of effort she gave up. “How much do you weigh?!”
“I work out,” Ranma said with some amusement, not noticing the widening of Hotaru’s eyes.
“How the hell am I supposed to get you up the stairs when you weigh as much as a baby grand?!”
Ranma stood up, snapping the ropes like they were mere threads. “You could try asking nicely.”
Hotaru grabbed one of Ranma’s hands. “My room is this way. I’ll borrow some rope from Mamma’s closet to tie you up with. She has silk which is much stronger.”
Pluto watched Hotaru drag off Ranma. “If you could break the ropes, why didn’t you do it earlier?”
“I’m the kidnappee, I’m pretty sure I’m suppose to just obey the magical princess and lay around waiting to be rescued,” Ranma replied as Hotaru led him to her room. “And frankly she makes a better magical princess than you, no offence, but you’re more like a magical queen.”
“None Taken,” Pluto replied as the two vanished upstairs. “Now… what did I have planned?”
Hotaru quickly returned with the rope and started typing Ranma down to her four post bed.
“This is a nice room,” Ranma said thoughtfully as he took in the plush, slightly goth, deep purple decor.
“When the lights are out and just a couple of lamps are on, it looks like you’re floating in space,” Hotaru shared, triple checking the ropes to make sure he was tied down solidly.
“Cool and with a bed this soft…”
“It actually feels like you’re floating.”
“Wow!”
“I’ll set it up so you can see,” Hotaru promised. ”But we really should get out you out of those clothes first.”
“W-what?!”
“Well, you aren’t supposed to wear more than boxers to bed. You don’t want to get my bed all dirty do you?” she asked innocently.
“I suppose not, and you are the magical princess…”
