"So, Hedwig is an expert on codes," mused Hiashi. "The others Hinata can summon are named Snowy and Rusty. 'Snowy' is apparently an expert in mathematics, astrology, and astronomy. 'Rusty' is the expert in herbcraft, poisons, and their antidotes."
"All potentially useful," said the Hyuga Elder. "Yet not really what is needed in an heir. She might be better off in getting sealed and made the advisor to her sister."
"We shall see," said Hiashi, otherwise brushing off the consideration.
Naruto had summoned it, and it was NOT one of the Twelve Swords in the song. No, this one was actually entirely practical in noncombat use and because Toltiir had decided to throw in some OTHER potential swords.
Wooden Sword Of The Apprentice: All training done with this sword results in a +50% bonus to learning speed.
There were, of course, other potential Swords he'd thrown in there. Some of which had what were intended to be purely comic effects.
Sword Of Disrobing: This sword does not cut living flesh. It does however cut through any sort of clothing or binding. Materials cut by this sword then begin dissolving from the cut in a manner similar to acid burning away for an additional three seconds.
There were some intended merely to increase Naruto's survivability in a crisis.
Sword Of Brilliance: This sword gives a +200% to Intelligence when grasped. Also grants the wielder the ability to "cut through the BS" by detecting lies and other deceptions within ten meters.
There were some that would be the 'fail' results required by those who insisted on balance.
The Singing Sword, aka 'Sword Of The Soundtrack': This sword, when drawn, will begin playing music appropriate to the situation, usually as a comedic moment. This will foil any attempt at stealth or escape as the music is sufficiently loud as to draw attention to the wielder.
Then, of course, there had to be something totally bizarre that was apparently useless unless certain conditions were met.
Sword Of Cthulhu Slaying: This sword only does 1 point of damage unless it is used against an Eldritch Abomination, in which case it does six thousand and sixty-six hundred billion points of damage with every critical hit doing a 1000x multiplier. Against Cthulhu itself, it will result in an instant kill.
Since the only thing even CLOSE to an Eldritch Abomination that Naruto might face would be the Ten Tailed Beast, and even confronting it or getting in sword-range would be unlikely at best - it should be a completely useless sword.
Toltiir yawned as Naruto used his training sword to go through the exercises Tenten was having him do. Bored after a few minutes of this, as Tenten was an apparently competent instructor in weapons, Toltiir fast-forwarded to:
