What withhis crazy life, he couldn't be sure that he could. Every day tended to be a craze mess of fights, glomps and malletings. That did tend to make the days flow from one into the other. It was amazing at times that he remembered much of anything.

But he did remember eventually that this was the day that:

• he was beginning his new job.
• when he was going to start at the new school.
• his family was going to visit his relatives.
• the prinicpal's party/dance was going to happen at the school.
• there was that challenger coming.
• that was the important thing that was happening.
