"Poppa Ranma!" the baby dragon shouted while ripping though the curtains from where she had been hiding "Don't be sad Poppa I... I.. promise I'll be good don't leave.." The wyrmling cried. Ranma startled looked at the wrymling, crying and looking pitiful with her claws grasping at his bed corner, "Wha? Uh... Don't cry..." as always Ranma, able to level mountains in his fights is defeated by a crying girl... dragon.. child. Especially as it seems that while all dragons have a dragonfear aura it was becoming evident that baby dragons had the fabled 'Puppy Dog Eyes' beat easily even in dragon form.
"You'll stay for now! I can come and travel with you?! I wanna learn how to be a great hero just like you! Ill be all KAPOW! and WHAM!" the little wyrmling shouted while swinging her claws around like an overzealous kung-fu movie fan. "Poppa?!.." Horrid thoughts of his own father abandoning him to the tender mercies of wolves, while he had steaks strapped to him of course, and other images flashed by before the rest sank in, "Just like me?". As the wrymling swung her claws in amateurish attempts at punches he remembered claiming how he wanted to be a great martial artist just like his father and trying to do katas in the yard before the training trip, and he remembered the crushing disappointment in his father the day of the neko-ken. "You swing your arm like this, you won't hit right like that." Ranma corrected while getting up and showing the child how to get her whole weight behind the punches. "OK Poppa!" she shouted while continuing to swing. Ranma figured that even if he could go home that he would at least do right by her before he left, to do otherwise would mean he would be just like his old man...
