[Episode 24168] [Episode 24168]After a brief disorientation, Happosai gained control of Soun's body. Happosai immediately decided it was time to charge this body's chi reserves. That shouldn't be too hard, considering he was now the only male in sight of all these submissive under-clad beauties. They even trusted the body he was in.
As he walked two steps through Nabiki's doorway, he said, "Everyone, group hug! Chop, chop, now, group hug."
As 'Soun's' request registered, the ladies all thought he was a little off center, but didn't have any good reason to refuse. With only the most insubstantial misgivings, they almost couldn't have refused. All except the outsider currently in Nabiki's body. It felt a little off, somehow, but none of them were able to figure out why.
Happosai was in a small heaven as he greedily siphoned chi from the unresisting ladies. While chi was much easier to extract when they were all excited, they weren't resisting him, which almost balanced out the disadvantages.

Ranma materialized next to the lamp. He quickly rubbed it several times, summoning the genie Soun. A sexy but hysterical genie Soun-chan wearing ragged wisps that hadn't been much more concealing even when they were intact appeared, grateful for rescue. Soun-chan was breathing heavily as if she'd been in a marathon.
"Happi's in Soun's body now. I've gotta go rescue 'em. See what you can do with this.", Ranma said as he tossed the lamp to Nabiki-kun and then jumped cleanly through Nabiki's second-story window.
Elderly businessman Nabiki cut off Soun-chan's blubbering entreaties with, "Quiet, daddy, I need to think." And with that incongruous command, silence was forced upon the distraught Soun.
Ranma was not prepared to see the ladies all in a group hug with Soun's body. A pause and blink in a double-take was involuntary.
"Alright Happosai, you know it's time for a showdown. Now let go of the kind, obliging ladies. Let's go outside, before any of them get hurt in our disagreement.", Ranma said.
Understanding of the real situation snapped into place for the ladies and they immediately felt a bit dirtied and used. Hug suddenly completed, they all retreated with alacrity.
Happosai crowed in Soun's voice, "You couldn't beat me when I was a wizened old man, what makes you think you have a prayer now, Ranma."
Ranma simply said, "It's my duty as a martial artist to use my skills to protect people from predators like you. Now let's take it outside."
Happosai was unimpressed, but accepted Ranma's challenge to take their differences outside. The two martial artists did a delicate little dance as Ranma moved to the side to allow an alert Happosai to pass through the window, and then Ranma in turn followed warily.
Unsurprisingly, the battle began as soon as Happosai had hit the ground. Happosai immediately sought to intercept Nabiki, and reclaim the lamp. Ranma felt a little foolish for not expecting that. As would be expected, Ranma rose to the occasion and somehow defended Nabiki. If Happosai had been more familiar with the body he was in, the outcome might well have been different.
Happosai might have coached Soun, but self-centered as he was, his methods didn't rely on gaining any real understanding of his students. More like throw them to the sharks and if they survived, they'd never forget how to swim very fast.
With Ranma defending lampbearer Nabiki from the rapidly adapting master of the school, Happosai was in control of the fight most of the time. You know that Ranma got wet.
It was Nabiki that decided the battle, which didn't surprise either contestant.
