Ranma sat nervously in front of the teacher checking her placement exams. She had grown to enjoy her “improved” body (still not knowing that it was, in-fact a girls body, had grown to calling it that). And was now at the point where it was only for baths (with the occasional hot water/tea accident) that he was a boy. This was the first time Ranma has ever really done anything without her father on hand close by.
The rustling of paper drew her attention first to the desktop, then the teachers face as he spoke. “You did surprisingly well for never attending school before.” He complimented. “It looks like we can place you in a class with students your own age. However you will need to join a younger class for language and sciences. I recommend that you go to a cram school to catch up to your peers. Alright lets get you to the principal to finish your enrollment.” The man stood, walked to and opened the door waiting just long enough for Ranma to follow, continued to the Principle's Office.
Knocking, opening, ushering Ranma through, and closing the door he handed the placement results to the principle. He then repeated what he explained to Ranma while the principle scanned through it.
“I agree,” The principle scribbled out a note, looked to the other man and asked “Have my secretary print this up will you?”
As he left, the principle looked to Ranma “so do you have any questions or concerns?” Ranma replied in the negative.
After going through a brief list of rules expected to be followed. Ranma said “I don' think I can get the uniform.”
“Oh, why's that?”
“I don' think Pops can buy it. He's always goin' on 'bout not havin' 'ny money for things.”
“Well, we'll just stop by the school shop on the way to class and see what we can do.”
Getting the schedule from the secretary they made their way to the shop. Finding a few used mismatched uniform pieces that will let Ranma “grow into them.” They make their way to Ranma's first class.
“Because of the placement tests you had to take you're starting after lunch.”
Ranma's classes include: (in Japan the teachers are the ones that change rooms not students)
