Genma, Ranma and Saturn looked around in amazement. Their training journey up and down Japan had taken them to a remote Chinese village?. Somehow.
?I don?t think we?re in Kansai anymore, Ranma,? Saturn remarked.
?I knew we should have taken a right turn at ? ?Albert Turkey??? Ranma muttered as he stared at the map left by Mars? last master. ?Wherever that was.?
?Shampoo! This time I shall defeat you!? a little boy excitedly informed a pig. ?Then we can get married and then kiss and then cuddle and then? and then? do that ...? He finished lamely because he had no idea what came next - but he was looking forward to finding out.
?You are an idiot, Mousse,? the little girl diagnosed with a distracted mutter in her native tongue. ?I?ve already defeated your marriage challenge, remember??
?But? but that doesn?t count!? He sputtered the protest to a fence post. ?We were only five!?
?Quaint little Chinese village laws are absolute,? she informed him seriously. ?Absolutely!?
?No matter!? he proclaimed and rushed to embrace an old woman. ?You will be mine!?
?Tee hee!? the old woman giggled in a mock girlish voice. ?I?m flattered, Sonny, but you?re a hundred years too young to date with me!?
The boy finally slipped his glasses over his eyes and recoiled in terror. ?Ah! A ghoul!? he screamed which merely earned him a blow to the head from the old woman?s hopping stick in an effort to train him to have better manners.
?You should respect your elders, Boy,? the old woman told him. ?No go away and don?t bother my granddaughter while she is training.?
Turning his gaze to where the girl actually was, the boy frowned through his thick glasses. ?What kind of training is that?? he asked, which earned him another walloping.
?That is secret woman?s business, Boy,? the elderly woman informed him. ?I could tell you, but then I?d have to kill you.?
?Oh! Please tell him, Grandmother!? the girl pleaded, which earned her a walloping. The old woman believed in equal opportunity use of the idiot stick.
?Yes, please tell ? hey!?
?Anyway. This is no place for weak little boys,? the old woman said scornfully. ?Now why don?t you go play with your toys??
?They?re not ?toys?,? the boy protested sulkily then proclaimed. ?With my new weapons, Zirconia says I can finally defeat Shampoo!?
?Who is ?Zirconia??? Shampoo wondered.
?Change the subject, fool,? a voice whispered inside the boy?s head.
?Aheh!? the boy coughed and rubbed the back of his head. ?Never mind that now! Shampoo, I love you and in the name of marriage, I challenge you!?
?I-?
?- don?t accept,? the old woman interrupted. ?You have already defeated him. Besides, you?re in training.?
?You can?t do that!? the boy protested. ?You have to accept all challengers!?
?Don?t be silly Mousse,? the girl sniffed disdainfully. ?You?re not really a challenge.?
?That?s not true,? Mousse protested.
?Oh, for Darkness sakes, Boy,? his invisible friend advised, ?why don?t you just show them!?
?Alright!? the boy agreed. ?I?ll show you who?s weak!-?
?Excuse please,? interrupted a little dark haired genie in what she assumed was flawless Chinese. ?Saturn is being lost. Is being you can show ??? She broke off to stare.
?<Pop? Why is that girl ? like that?>? Ranma asked in Japanese.
Genma explained in admiring grunts.
?<That?s ridiculous,>? Saturn scoffed, then seeing the look in the panda?s eyes swore. ?<No! If you try to do that to Ranma or me then, Pow!, to the moon!>? She turned back to the Chinese trio. ?Sorry. Old Bear thinking is being crazy martial arts training. Is too too silly, yes??
?Well, actually ?? the old woman began then changed her mind. ?Never mind that, child. What are you doing here?? While two little girls wandering alone with a giant panda was not that uncommon a sight (for the region), the fact that they (including the panda) spoke Japanese was worth investigating.
?We is being on training journey,? Saturn informed the old woman, ?and is being lost. Saturn ? seeing something odd ? over here and ??
?Don?t ignore me!? the Chinese boy cried as his inner voice goaded him on. Then he attacked using the power of?
