Expecting to stay for a while, Ami quickly prioritized, and checking her Mercury Computer, found that a pattern formed mostly of the shadowy magic that resembled parts of her powers.
Activating it didn't call for her to use any words or movements, though the name of it rose to the surface of her thoughts as Summon Imp. Out of the water beneath the Dungeon Heart climbed the results of her spell, and while different from the normal expression of the spell, it was equally easy to see where the differences came from.
Their bodies were no different, with large, dark eyes and a mouth that was all teeth, as well as a pick, the clothes were leather pants and a black top, giving the impression of a gymnast's outfit, much like hers used to be. Soon following, came others, one at a time, until there were four. She gave them instructions on where to dig into the wall, where they blurred into it with a vengence, as she analyzed the results.
Ami really had no basis for comparing them to normal imps, but she suspected part of the difference was natural due to drastically over-estimating the basic energy cost, and the rest being the "upgrades" she recieved with her normal transformation.
Soon the imps had the first room finished, complete with cute little jigs, and she sent them off to do a few more rooms of a comparable size, and one of nearly triple that as she went about the business of creating stuff she would need in those rooms.
Once finished (and one much-needed sleep later), Ami looked through her library, which held every relevant piece of information, save for some puzzling missing parts that she could figure out later. The knowledge covered what she wasn't quite aware of, but knew was present in her mind and/or soul. The first book she read, however, wasn't concerning any future powers, but about the gods connected to this world.
Each god had it's own chapter, though she skimmed through most of it until she found one that her mind told her was significant, titled, "Metallia, the Divided God." Her concerns for her friends resurfaced and grew with each new fact. She was going to have to make some changes, and given her resources (even if increased by the extra rooms), she didn't like what it might entail, but at least she was put more at ease with the changes she'd found, if not entirely comfortable with them.
During the entire time, Horny hadn't ceased his efforts, though he had made too little progress by the time he found himself lifted free of the reinforcing environment of the pool.
In his ears, he heard the new Keeper speak to him, bypassing the muffling of the ice. "I don't like to have to do this, but if I'm going to wage war on the other Keepers and likely a good chunk of the Underworld, I'm going to need help. As such, I'm patterning my army based on what had at one point worked quite well, and includes a role appropriate for you as one of my generals. If you don't accept, I'll send you through the portal my imps are working they are digging to, so the choice is yours. What say you?"
