"Right," said Lina, while trying to inhale a bowl of ramen and doing a pretty good job of it.
"So what are your attacks?" asked Yuri. "I was mainly labor, but I'm fairly good with dual-wielding a pair of daggers."
"I've got a lot of attacks," admitted Lina. "I'm one of the more powerful Sorceresses around when it comes to attack spells."
"Well, if you're powerful, why go with such an unknown?" asked Yuri.
"Let's just say that I needed to get away from a certain sister of mine and leave it at that," said Lina, shuddering.
"I can empathize actually," said Yuri, having grown up in a Dark Elf hive. Sisters could be particularly cruel and harsh mistresses.
"If we don't know what the test tomorrow is, the best we can come up with are just general tactics," mused Lina, eating a bit slower as she considered the situation. Not incidently changing the subject to something she was a bit more comfortable with.
"So, I have close-range attacks, you can handle the at-range targets," mused Yuri.
"A lot of my spells go boom, so as soon as you hear me get it off - get back away from the target," advised Lina.
"So what do I do?" asked Naruto.
"Uhm, usually a Trainer just sits on the sidelines and directs specific manuevers," said Yuri. "I suppose, with you actually being a combatant as well... Should we spar so we have a better idea of what each of us is capable of?"
"Nah," said Lina. "If it's going to be a tough test tomorrow, then we should get to bed early. Be well rested for whatever this guy is going to throw at us."
