When the red light formed the silhouette, the wings were quite obvious.
The girl who finished appearing was a bit odd to Yuri's opinion. "An Angel?"
"Yes," softly said the girl in question.
"You're so pale, if it wasn't for the wings I'd think you were an Icemaiden," noted Yuri.
"Father had a strong Ice element in his bloodline," stated Rei. "Mother was an Angel."
"So you've got Celestial element, Flying type, with some Ice element?" asked Yuri, one eyebrow raising. "That's cool."
"Pun noted," said Rei in the same soft voice that was her apparent normal tone.
"She's... an Angel?" asked Teuchi. Certainly the girl looked odd, heck BOTH girls looked odd, it was just that the wings and paleness were not quite what he'd expect.
"Angel type pokegirl," said Rei, dismissing her wings.
"So, we need to figure out what we can do to handle this test tomorrow," said Yuri. "Once that's out of the way and we can earn some extra money - we need some outfits."
"I see," said Rei, watching as the bowls of ramen were delivered.
"Uhm," said Naruto, seeing how pokegirls could be expensive all of a sudden.
"Egg ramen for her too," supplied Yuri.
"I dislike meat," said Rei.
"Yeah, one of the pokegals helping out at the farm was an Angel too," said Yuri. "She was one of those blonde ones though."
"I see," said Rei. "This test - what are the rules?"
"No clue," admitted Naruto as the two pokegirls considered him. "All I know so far is we gotta pass it, that it's supposed to make us throw up, and that's it."
"Hard to make a plan without knowing the details," said Yuri.
"Then it is logical," quietly stated Rei, "that we compare our capabilities and determine logical attack and defense patterns for this test."
"Sounds good, I suppose," said Naruto finally.
"I am a pokekit, of fourteen years age and Juvenile stage," stated Rei. "I am an Angel type. Favored weapon is spear. My learned techniques are Minor Heal, Barrier, and Charge Weapon. Because of my heritage, I can charge weapons with either Ice or Celestial element. Also due to my heritage, I tire rapidly."
"Okay," said Yuri, jabbing her thumb at herself. "Yuri. I am a Dark Elf. I was raised as a slave-drone in a warren. Endurance is my specialty, mainly cause I got worked to the ground. I also learned a few weapons, it was expected that I and the other low caste would be the first sent out to defend the group. I'm best with dual-wielding shortswords. Of course, I don't HAVE any weapons right now."
"Oh heck," said Naruto, sensing MORE expenses.
