Naruto blinked.
left forewing, right hindwing, left hindwing... ?!
Naruto dashed from the hospital bed to the mirror and waggled one wing after another, then caused all four to vanish as he realized he didn't need them. Then he called them back. Dismissed. Return. Dismissed. What the?!
Why was his hair longer? When did he get... buff?
Naruto flexed and stretched a few times. Just curious. Believe it!
Naruto considered his options, but really there was only one that counted right now wasn't there?
Teuchi of Ichiraku's blinked a couple of times as Naruto Uzumaki came down to a landing next to his stall.
"Naruto?" asked Teuchi.
"Yup. Three miso ramen," said Naruto as he took his seat.
"I see," said Teuchi. "Only three?"
"Eh, I just need enough to get me through lunch," said Naruto.
Teuchi looked at all the changes in Naruto, finally deciding to just treat it as 'business as usual' for now. Details would come later, most likely. "Okay. Coming right up."
A space outside space:
"Okay, how exactly does this get me to be one of these 'paladin' things?"
"Ah, well as to that-"
