Alright, Ranma’s plan was simple…
1. Don’t say anything until splashed with cold water
2. Say in a nonchalant fashion “Oh, and I was cured today.”
3. Fight everyone at dinner because of the cure
4. Make sure no one gets married that day
5. When going out as a girl, pretend to be someone else
6. ??? Um… make it up as you go along???
7. Eat ice cream for your efforts (now that’s a profit!)
Now all that was left was for him to execute the plan.
It wasn’t until the next morning when Akane was leaving for her trip when Ranma got splashed in front of someone. Akane had just said her goodbyes and Ranma was seeing her leave when it rained for 5 seconds. (just a normal day.) Akane stared in shock
“R-Ranma?” Akane asked, unsure of what she saw. “What... how?”
“Oh, hi Akane, what’s with you, you look like you’ve seen a ghost. I’m just ‘cured’ now that’s it.” ‘He-he-he all according to plan… wait… is she crying? MAYDAY!! MAYDAY!!"
“Akane! What’s wrong, why are you crying! You know I can’t stand it when girls cry!”
“*sniff* its nothing, just, why didn’t you tell me you found a cure?”
“Akane, if I told anyone, than Pops and who else will force me to do things. Sorry to keep a secret from you.” He saw her turning away walking dejectedly. “Akane? Why are you…?”
“Just, stop, *sniff* I’m happy for you, I just… need to go somewhere by myself ok? See you tonight Ranma…” Akane then whispered when she was out of sight walking towards the Spa “Goodbye forever Ranko… *sniff* It was better this way…” ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Ranma just stood there outside towards the way Akane took off staring stupidly into nowhere ‘Why was she crying? She said she was happy. Were those tears of joy? Maybe she’s just sad I didn’t tell her earlier. Great, I’m forced to spend half of the rest of my life female and I STILL don’t understand them! Oh well, time to get out of here before Pops asks for a cure, maybe spend sometime getting used to being Female for half of forever… great, after thinking about it, the only thing I haven’t done as a girl is anything sex related… well I’m keeping it that way. It’s a good thing being a girl sometimes doesn’t make me like boys.’ *shudder*
Ranma took that time to rush to the bathroom and get a disguise going. ‘Alright, I’m going to be a girl for a long, long time, if that’s how the world wants it then fine! But I’M going to be the kind of girl I want to be! That was the weirdest thing I ever thought. Maybe being a tomboy martial artist… hey, that’s what pretty much every girl who tries to get me does! I mean sure Akane is a real big tomboy, but come to think of it, Ukyo cross dresses, Shampoo is a warrior girl and Kodachi… well, ok, she is not a tomboy but ¾ of them is insane! My life is so messed up!"
Ranma was now in the bathroom and changed into a girl. Looking in the mirror, she sees she has eyeliner on. ‘Was that always part of the curse? Focus!! Focus!! Ok, hair, um, having it down looked really good that one time so…" Ranma undoes her hair and it is now flowing behind her. ‘Damn I’m sexy! Wait. What are you doing?! I’m getting attracted to myself again! Arggg!!! That’s why I don’t do this often!! Well, at least it shows I still like girls. Alright, next! Um… hmmm… red hair is a dead giveaway of who I am so..." Ranma pulls out blonde hair dye. ‘I always wondered what I would look blonde, people will really underestimate blondes!"
A color change and a change of clothes later Ranma is outside walking towards the southern Tokyo Wards. She is wearing fitting pants (they aren’t baggy… Nodoka bought them!) and a fitting (if revealing) red shirt.
Following ever so secretly is Kodachi, with spring of drowned man water in a casket under her arms. She saw a girl go out and knew it was the ‘pig tailed girl’ in a disguise.
“You think a simple change in hair color can fool the Black Rose? No matter, because soon pigtailed girl, you will be no more Oooh ho ho ho!!!”

Ukyo was leaving Ucchan’s to relax at that women’s only spa. After telling Konatsu that she’ll be gone for the day and that he could have the day off, Ukyo boarded the bus towards Azabu-Juban because no one is stupid enough to put someplace like that in Nerima.
“Ah, the sun is shinning, I am having record profits, and I get to spend a day away from all the weirdness here. Today is a good day, if only Ran-chan were coming… oh well, it’s a hot spa, its not like he could go anyway.”

Shampoo was riding her bike towards the Spa in a very dangerous way if you were a normal person. But for a supernatural martial artist like Shampoo, it was child’s play. Riding on the edges of buildings and on top of the walls is just ‘eh’ for Shampoo. Still, today was a good day for her, all the aches of going to china again and crashing a wedding to a violent girl really tires you out. Now she has a chance to just relax, after all what could possibly go wrong in Azabu-Juban?
“Once Shampoo uses Shampoo’s shampoo, Shampoo will be irresistible to Arien! The shampoo said so… stupid language! Shampoo no hair product!!”

Ranma challenged herself, if she could go the whole day doing ‘girl’ things in a way that is not ‘overly girly’ then it would not only prove that this isn’t so bad, but also a way to make herself comfortable doing this type of thing half the time so that she didn’t have to reveal that she still had a female body. Going south a few wards will certainly make sure no one follows her, like they’d recognize a blonde haired Ranma-chan. Still, getting away from that and a place where she wouldn’t meet any of her classmates, rivals, or Fiancées would make it easier to do girl things she hasn’t done ‘right’. Like the bath houses that she went to, she couldn’t be on either side due to the water, now, if Happosai is terrorizing the girls, then she can do something about it. Hey if she could pull this off it would be like a secret identity.
“I’ve got to stop watching tv…”
Anyway, afterwards she could con someone out of ice cream. If she was going to be female half the time she is going to use it damn it!
Subconsciously, she was headed to a certain women’s only spa in Azabu-Juban
