Ranma looked at the piece of paper in front of him, telling him the address of the place, before finally finding the location. He stepped inside not knowing what to expect. Would he find some joker laughing at him for actually falling for his prank, or would he find an actual starship being auctioned off to the highest bidder?
When he entered, he found it was the latter, as he found himself staring at a real starship. It looked kind of like a fighter jet, but big enough to accommodate living quarters and more. What he found surprising was that no one else was there, except for himself.
" A bidder," said somebody suddenly, and Ranma turned around to find himself face to face with a ripped man, but with nerdy glasses, " I thought nobody was going to come, but I guess I was wrong. This here is the Infinity. Ain't she beautiful? She may not look like much, but let me assure you, she has an engine that can go up to Warp 9, as well as being able to travel through time and go to parallel universes. And don't think that makes it spacious! It has three bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, medical office, two cargo bays, engine room, communal area, transporter, and of course a fully functioning holodeck! Since you're the only one here, I guess the selling price is, say, 40,866.60 yen?"
Ranma was flabbergasted, that was the exact amount of money he had in his hidden savings, far from the eyes of his father and Nabiki. He could tell the seller to wait, and then he could be back within less than a minute, with the money, ready to fling himself into adventure, far away from Akane, Shampoo, and Ukyo. But could he really do it?
